Full bar, good bar food, nice view, new non smoking area!

Bar area was busy but non smoking is at the front with a view of the bay so we weren't affected by the smoke - my hair or clothes didn't even smell when I got home. Fried mushrooms were served hot and crisp. I had my usual Patty Melt which they do well and my daughter had her favorite BLT.... read more

We went here yesterday for lunch because we always get great food and great service with a great view of Little Bay. We weren't disappointed again. We shared the fried okra which was great. Hubby had the SW shrimp salad, and I had the fried shrimp. Everything was great as usual. At nights it can get smokey, even in the... More

Went there this evening with 3 other couples and if the service was any slower, we could have ordered delivery sub from Amarillo. Most of us left with the inclination, not to return.

I really want to like this place. It is near where I stay and so is convenient with a nice view, the food is OK and friends have recommended some selections they enjoy. I WANT to like it and go often, but don't. Whenever I go, it feels super smokey with that strong odor that sticks to walls and upholstery,... More

Our family of four ate there on 12/19/15 and were pleasantly surprised by the food. It's a very casual place with a full bar. The Southwestern Shrimp salad was just okay, but I wasn't disappointed because this isn't the type of place that specializes in salads. Everyone else had fried shrimp and loved it. The service was great and prices... More

Great food choices. Great place to watch sports. Casual dining. Near the beach area and my hotel I stayed at.

We stopped here for lunch on our way out of town. The menu was good. It was Sunday so it was happy hour all day. The service was good. We all thought our food was fine. The only thing was I had a shrimp taco with corn tortillas and the tortillas had already fallen apart by the time my meal... More

Poor mans's was across the street from the hotel. We got in late Sunday night after a very long and stressful trip we were starving but did not want greasy fast food. I asked the front desk where we could get a bite and a good drink this late....she recommended Poor man's....THANK YOU!!

My fishing partner and I got off the water late and needed a quick bite and a beer. Joking on the water, we wanted Guinness, but the likelihood was unlikely. We found the Poor Man's Country Club, not fancy rustic would be appropriate. We went to the second floor where it was open and overlooked the water. Smoking is allowed... More

A new place for us this year. With all the trips we make to Rockport all summer this place has become our go to place when we arrive in town. We love sitting out on the top deck, having a bite to eat and a few drinks to unwind from the week and get our weekend started. Awesome place.
