Lunch

Went early Sunday. I know it's weird but their fried pickles are to die for. Fried shrimp were ok. Fish tacos were good. French fries kinda limp. Black beans and corn were good. Kinda pricey.

Poor Man's Country Club is a great place to go! Good food, Great drinks, and a super view of windsurfers, and the ski basin. A good place to cool off after visiting the Beach front flea market on a weekend. Staff is always friendly. The place is beautiful. Natural wood Everywhere! I didn't expect that from the machine shed looking... More

Daughter had Basketball Tournament in July 2015 / came here to eat w/the whole team. Great Food! Staff was very helpful! The only thing that I did not like was that we were not able to sit with each other as Parents and the Girls could not as well. However they said, that this would only be one check if... More

I ordered the buffalo wings, were really good, however the menu online does not have the current pricing. Her burger was average. Friendly staff. Fried mushrooms were a bit bready, but freshly fried and hot. I recommend this restaurant for a relaxing fun place.

Always saw cars at this restaurant. Wanted to try it, so we went for dinner tonight. As soon as we opened the door you could smell smoke from large bar area with tables to dine in bar area. The non-smoking area is at the front of the restaurant with nice windows showing the water across the street. There are large... More

The wings are great. The beer is cold. The downfall for this place is cigarette smoke. Rockport allows smoking and if this is an issue for you, don't go. If you don't mind, the place is good..... There is no 'smoking area' and they serve drinks, it is the Poor Mans Country Club after all.... I recommend it.

To be honest, we felt that there is limited nice inexpensive food places in the Rockport area. This was our second night and despite the not so special reviews we opted for this place. The service was good - prompt and a pleasant waitress. All serving staff appeared to be efficient and friendly to be fair. It is a large... More

I rented an outside table to view July 4 fireworks It was a great view, however, the table I held was $100.00 for up to 6 people and then you pay $15.00 per extra persons up to 10. Well, the table ended up being a picnic table which could only hold 6 adults comfortable and 8 with a squeeze. We... More

Service was a little slow and food was ok. Very little seafood considering we are on the coast. I had the shrimp poor boy and got 4 large shrimp and blah tarter sauce! Cole slaw was blah as well. My husband got the taco burger... A Hamburger on tortillas. Might come back for appetizers

First of all, this is the first time that I can honestly say I've been truly disappointed with dining out while on vacation at the beach. The decor was interesting but nice if you like sports bar type setups. Fair warning to anyone who lives in a locale that has outlawed smoking inside restaurants and other public places. If smoking...
