Friendly, funky restaurant

Very friendly staff and servers. Atmosphere: nothing special. I had the ribeye which was more than half fat. Flavorful sauce but the meat was most disappointing. Seafood was better. Management needs to get a higher quality of meat. Place was not worth the price. We will not be back.

Following the good reviews we choice to have a dinner for the first time at this restaurant with friends for celebrate a birthday. The place is vey small and no clean, the floor need to be remodeled, the decoration need to be upgraded. Service is poor, they tried to be friendly but they aren't. We started with a Caesar salad... Although. The restaurant can be pricey for dinner it quite reasonable for lunch. And, where else could I have crispy quail? The Brussels sprouts with bacon were a hit with everyone. My companions opted for soup and half a sandwich. The only complaints I heard were that the soup was too spicy - something I know would not have bothered... More

We had dinner and wine for a business trip to the area, and found this quaint little restaurant, with great food and superb staff. The atmosphere is almost like having dinner at a friends house, with all the benefits of that, with a small menu, and attentive service.

We had lunch at this quaint little boat house yesterday. The food was outstanding. We started with a house salad topped with fresh grilled shrimp and our meal included Vietnamese fish tacos (fresh grouper), green chile mac n cheese, and roasted brussels sprouts with bacon. All items were expertly prepared and presented. We are repeat customers and our dining experiences... More

A nice cozy place, that would be great for a family dinner, or a couples date. Green chili Mac and cheese is delicious. Steaks are good as well, with some game on the menu. Must have while in rockport.

What a delicious find! This cozy little restaurant features fresh seafood and a catch of the day. We enjoyed an early dinner of Mom's shrimp ( a white wine and fresh mushroom sauce with a generous portion of well seasoned and sautéed fresh shrimp over a creamy bed of potato puree), and the gulf plate featuring smallish crab cakes, sautéed... My husband and I have eaten at Glow countless times since they have opened and the food has never disappointed us! It's 5 star dining all the way in a small quaint vacation town. The restaurant is housed in an old original boat house that adds to the charm and sweet old-world allure of Glow. If you are looking for... More

There were 7 of us who went for the second seating on Valentine's Day. Reservation was for 7:45 and we were seated at 8:20. Thank goodness we had come a little early to have a drink at the bar as we were told we could. At least we could sit and wait while others were lined up out the door.... More
