Not Equipped to Handle a Crowd

There were 7 of us who went for the second seating on Valentine's Day. Reservation was for 7:45 and we were seated at 8:20. Thank goodness we had come a little early to have a drink at the bar as we were told we could. At least we could sit and wait while others were lined up out the door.... read more

My wife and I went there on Saturday, Five tables were occupied. There were two servers working. We have been to Glow before so we were prepared to wait, which is fine. After we had been there for awhile, our server stopped by our table and asked "what are you waiting on" I told her that with only a few... More

It was our fourth night dining in Rockport on vacation, and we were losing heart. Everything so far had been a disappointment, with quality of food in inverse proportion to prices. A foodie friend recommended Glow and boy, are we grateful. It's in a little house on the main drag, so once you're inside you might think you were dining... More

Glow is a small place with great food. Because of the acoustics, we enjoyed being able to carry on a conversation while dining. We will return the next time we are in Rockport.

My wife, daughter and I ate here 3 years ago and were delighted with the food and homey atmosphere in this little restaurant, including the bread pudding dessert that was excellent (4 stars). So we returned there this Dec. 26 and were disappointed in 2 ways. A significant number of dishes were unavailable "due to the holiday", so why open... More

After trying a few of the local restaurants offering warm wine and fried food, I was relieved to stumble upon Glow. Housed in a small wooden shack set back from the road, the atmosphere is minimal and cozy with a bar area for those who want a drink and a snack and a small dining area adjacent. The menu is... The food and service at Glow is awesome. Every aspect of our evening was perfect. We will be dining here again. The staff went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience.

Called for a reservation this evening. The receptionist asked what time we'd like to come. I told her 8:00 and she said "How many are in your party?" When I answered"two", she said "Sorry, we don't have anything available." When I asked if we could come later, she said "No, there's nothing available." I'm stunned--if they are fully booked, why... My girlfriend and I had a gift certificate for $75.00...for Glows....This place use to be a canvas and sail shop....Not much larger than a largehobby garage.....Upon entry....we noticed the place had no décor what so ever...After entry, you past the small bar and are ushered into a small dining area....Quite visible is an open kitchen window which gives one a... A large group of coworkers made a reservation at Glow for dinner and we were all very impressed! The restaurant is on the smaller side but has a very beachy, cottage seaside vibe. We ordered many appetizers and everyone ordered something different on the menu. I had the chicken and after everyone had a bite they all agreed it was... More
