Food is ok, service was very slow.

The food it ok. We went on a Sunday for lunch. They had just opened and they were out of chicken and baked potatoes. The service was so slow. We had friends in line behind us and we were done eating by the time they got their food.

I'm not sure which came first, but if you're looking for a decent BBQ joint north of Ft Worth, Spring Creek (not far away) is much better and virtually identical in the cafeteria style service. The food was fine, not bad, but SC is better and SC serves hot rolls during dinner. Not much service to speak of after leaving... More

Friday 7 p.m. Took my wife to Big Barn for dinner. This is the same building where Cotton Belt BBQ used to occupy some years ago. Tonight I sure do miss them. As always, you wait in line to order. We chose to share the three-meat plate and two sides ($13.49), had ordered individual drinks, one iced tea ($1.79) and... More

Great atmosphere & live music but the BBQ not so much. Fall off the bone ribs had no flavor but the spicy BBQ sauce was excellent. Banana pudding & both blackberry & peach cobbler were yuck. I'd stick with the brisket or chopped beef that you can drown in the sauce & enjoy the beer & music.

While the food is good the service just sucks, the place is run by a bunch of teenager who stand around like idiots, don’t even know how to greet ppl when you walk-in the door, and no-one seems to know what they are doing or what is even going on with the business. I really think the only thing that... More

We really enjoyed ourselves at the Big Barn. The food was very good and the servicwe was extraordinary. We will be back. the brisket was smoky and flavorful. The pulled pork was tender and delicious.

This is the real thing for great barbecue. Independently owned small business. Entertainment on weekends.
