Good Lunch Place

I went there over lunch and had the buffet. The line was pretty long but it moved quickly. There was a good variety of food and everything looked fresh. The staff did a good job of keeping things refilled. You can also pay for your buffet after you eat which I thought was nice. They are building a... read more

This place is a monarch of Mediterranean food- it is made fresh daily and the service in the restaurant is just great- the hummus is fresh and so is the pita bread- the owner and chef are very personable and their attitude is contagious through the staff

This used to be my favorite place, but after they moved to the new building, the food quality has gone down. No more in house bead, instead of that you will get some pita bread that came out of a plastic bag. To top it off now they charge for the drinks. I do not drink anything but water, I... More

We dine out monthly with another couple and try different midrange restaurants each time. This month we came here on the recommendation of the other couple who had eaten at the old location. Big surprise, it wasn't good at all. The building is very large and noisy, there were flies zooming around our table as well as others. The service... More

Came here for the first time with a friend and we ordered a few different dishes to share. We had the falafels, hummus with pita bread, grape leaves, zatar pie, and french fries. We both thought the food was good. The only thing my friend did not like were the grape leaves. Our waitress was really attentive as well and... More

Briefly, we had good times in the past at AFRAH. They used to have great food. Quality of food in 2015 is not as good after opening the new restaurant. So many BLACK INSECTS WITH WINGS around your table. Order was wrong….food was cold. I’m a local person, I suggest you try SABABA restaurant in Richardson. I would give AFRAH... More

We visited on the basis of a Triple D profile, and because it was on the way from the airport to Allen, where we were staying. The food is outstanding, the portions large and the service pretty good. The restaurant itself was a bit tired, but we were there only a few days before they were scheduled to move into... More

We all ordered shawarma, both chicken and beef. The meat was very dry and lacking in flavour. The garlic sauce was not good. The atmosphere was good and our server was very nice and most helpful.

We've been coming here for many years and it was always consistently outstanding. Today, we decide to go for brunch which we've enjoyed many times before. They have moved into their new building, located next door to the old restaurant. The new building is quite nice, considerably bigger and the single brunch line has expanded to three. Restrooms are clean... More

We were surprisingly satisfied with the authentic tasting Middle Eastern food offered at Afrah. Eating here was the next best thing to being in Beirut or Amman. Desserts were tasty as well as the Turkish coffee.
