Exceeded my expectations

I read about this sushi restaurant in TripAdvisor and found out it was close to my Hyatt hotel. First evening was a Saturday. I didn't pre order and waited 30 min to get a table, it was worth the waiting. Got some beans, tuna sashimi, a few nigiri bites with salmon, shrimps, tuna. I had a maki with... read more

Sushi sake has the freshest sushi around. The venue is very clean, neat and aesthetically pleasing. They are not low cost. The sushi is fresh and tasty but is pricey. They are welcoming to families but do not appreciate strollers. The wait can be long at peak times but in my humble opinion it's worth the wait. They do have... More

Searching for a late night dinner before turning it at our hotel, my colleague asked Siri to find a list of restaurants nearby. I assume Siri has been studying my colleague's location trends because it immediately recommend Sushi Sake; probably due to the fact that he (and I) are avid sushi connessoiurs. Little did I know, but we were walking... More

Found a hair with Vegetable in lunch special bento. Manager said the hair belongs to a female and he has no female works in the kitchen. ????? Hello ? Been coming here with my family for over 20 years , now it has an idiot manager. Not coming back ..

I have been going to this restaurant since it was in the strip shopping center off Campbell. I have never been disappointed with anything at this restaurant. The same, beer, and wine selection is vast. The menu is outstanding. It is very pricey, but worth it.

This is not a cheap sushi spot. I don't think they even have a happy hour. It is on the expensive side.... BUT it is not unreasonable and it is the freshest sushi I've ever tasted. The fish seems to melt in your mouth. The flavors are very authentically Japanese and the menu is vast. The atmosphere is wonderful. I've... More

I'm a semi-retired chef and travel a lot. I was in Japan last month and had sushi several times and none were better than the meal I had a Sushi Sake on New Year Eve! We got there twenty five minutes before opening to be guaranteed a table since they don't accept reservations. We started out with a rainbow roll... More

This was our first trip to a real sushi joint. It was awesome, we sat at the bar, watching the sushi being created was half the fun. We are in town for 5 days and will probably hit this again...

I have been eating Sushi from the Sushi Chef/Owner of Sushi Sake since he was at Nakamotos in Plano. He is so exacting with the quality of ingredients he uses, that you cannot get a bad meal. My daughter and I have been eating there since she was in the first grade, she is in College now and whenever she... More

This is definitely one of the best sushi restaurants in the northern DFW area. Very unique selections and extremely fresh and authentic. Love the ambiance and the service is always impeccable, Drink selection is limited but adequate.
