We've been coming here to Papdeaux's for a few years now and we ALWAYS get great food and service here. I'm not much of a seafood person. Very often, I order fried shrimp with chicken tenders (a "surf & turf" combo). BUT... Every time we go there, the food is excellent. We often order a variety of seafood like shrimp,... More

As a many time traveler to the Dallas area ,I always manage a stop at Pappadeaux which has some of the finest seafood anywhere. The restaurant is huge and always packed which attests to the quality of their food. This mostly a chain in Texas area and several southern states. Not inexpensive but worth every penny. Being from Pittsburgh, we... More

I have eaten at Pappadeaux's multiple times and I can't that I've ever had a bad experience. Each time the service was great and the food was better; regardless of the number of people i our party (usually 4). I would highly recommend this restaurant and suggest the gator tails.

Arrived early to beat the crowds and then the rain started coming down, so we had nothing to worry about. Was seated prompted at a nice table in the middle of the well appointed restaurant. The menu is extensive with lots of cajun and fired foods. Large loaf of hot bread arrived shortly at our table. I ordered the fried... More

We went for dinner, first time ever and we enjoyed it . The athmosphere is great, nice architecture and decor. Good seafood although the kitchen ends up with offering unusual food combinations and the end result can sometimes be a bit too rich and 'too much' (sea bass topped up with cheese? Sorry it does not work too well). I... More

Outstanding! Food was excellent, oysters, lobster bisque, crab cakes and deep fried soft shell crab...yum! Though a little pricey the atmosphere, service and food are worth it.

A little on the pricey side but the food is always beyond excellent! If you go with a group, be sure to enjoy their greek salad, prepared tableside for multiple guests. Entrees are generous and delicious, enjoy salad and/or appetizers and then split an entrée with a friend for smaller appetites. Be prepared to wait for a while but the... More

I just love going to papasitas for any occasion! I would go there even if they only served chips and salsa! Their salsa is the best!!

Go here for very well prepared Cajun seafood. Offerings are fresh, generously proportioned, and are a good value. Some of the entrees are so large that they can quite comfortably be divided for two people -- a request the staff will happily accommodate. Entrees generally in the $15 - $30 range.
