I recently moved to Dallas from Florida. Mexican food is everywhere here. This place stands out. I don't think I've ever had a better taco!

A hidden gem in this strip mall. Great food with a Caribbean twist to the food.Great prices and they also serve alcohol. Hipster and clean atmosphere and would definitely go back again.

We ate here one weekday lunch and the place was really busy. After seeing that the taco plate comes with rice beans chips and salsa, i only ordered one taco. The side portions are very small so i would recommend ordering 2 tacos for a normal size portion and 3 tacos for very hungry big eaters. I have the jalapeno... More

Taco Ocho has received good if not stellar reviews from many of the Metroplex foodies and comes highly recommended by my sister ln-law who eats there often. We visited her for a New Year’s celebration so we kicked it off with a trip to Taco Ocho and it did not disappoint. Located in a strip center this taco shop is... More

We decided to try Taco Ocho in Richardson, Tx for the first time. I ordered the Pick 2 Plate: any taco*any tostada, with rice, beans, chips and salsa. The Smoked Chicken Elite Taco has tons of smoked chipotle chicken, grilled corn kernels, cotija cheese, cilantro on a corn tortilla. The Americana Tostada is vegetarian with shredded lettuce, refried black beans,... More

I went to Taco Ocho during my lunch break today and glad I did. I got the Two Taco plate - Smoked Chicken Elote taco & Battered Cabo Fish tank. Both were good but the fish taco was my favorite. The plate came with chips & salsa, rice and black bean mash. I absolutely loved the rice and could order... More

I'm visiting from Colorado and was able to walk to Taco Ocho from my hotel. The food is delicious! I don't eat meat, so I had the Ocho Maya taco and the Pura Vida taco. These were both great. I like the Ocho Maya better, but only because the Pura Vida was so stuffed that half the filling fell out,... More

I've been to Taco Ocho in Richardson about three times. The food is good, the portions are a bit small and the atmosphere is not bad. Figure a meal and a drink will run you around $10/person. I've always ordered the two taco (flour tortillas) plate which comes with some chips, salsa, rice and beans. The food is presented nicely,... More

You'll first notice the cheap prices! Wow, it appears to be a great deal, BUT the portions are so tiny! The chips & salsa is only $2, but I finished the small bowl of salsa after 5 chips! The beans and rice have a great interesting taste, but you only get about 5 spoonfuls in the tiny little square bowls... More

1st time at ocho surprised me. Much better than fast food with a California influence. Not fully authentic Mexican but flavors better than what you would expect in a fast food chain.
