My husband and I have been visiting for over a year and love it. It is our favorite place for lunch. Their pie crust is the best I've ever eaten in a restaurant. Every dish we have tried has been excellent, GLENDA

We moved to Richardson, TX about two years ago and several of my friends introduced me to the Chocolate Angel for luncheons and teas. I also have had them cater a few meals recently and have been so pleased with the quality of food (especially their baked goods). It is a very popular place so reservations for lunch are in... More

My 2-star rating has nothing to do with the food. The food is always delicious; today was no exception. I ordered two Some Like It Hot pimento cheese sandwiches and oatmeal cookies To Go. Every morsel of food was fantastic. My 2-star rating is all about the service, from the To Go area no less...really, how hard can it be... More

A visit to the Chocolate Angle on Campbell Road was made today by my spouse our daughter and granddaughter. This writer was not invited as this was a “girls” day out. There was only one reservation time available and that was 11:30AM. They took it. They were seated promptly upon arrival and placed their order. They tell me it was... More

Chocolate Angel makes good salads and pastries, however it lacks the special taste needed to overcome the poor atmosphere. The restaurant simply gets overcrowded during typical lunch hours which causes them to merge different groups at the community table. Now they do make good salads, but there is nothing unique about the food to make the poor atmosphere worthwhile. You... More

The ladies of our Sunday School had lunch at Chocolate Angel recently. Our room was beautiful, our server was attentive but not overly so, and the food was wonderful! We all eat different items on the menu and no one was disappointed! Our day together turned out perfect. Not the first visit to CA..... certainly not my last. A plus!

They insist you have a reservation even though when we went there was at all times at least 4 tables open. If no reservation they put you at a HUGE community table and service is slower than usual. We sat at a table that would seat 10 people and the whole time there was only two of us, it was... More

This is the second time I have been to this location. The first time was a completely different experience than I had today. This time we had pre-selected the menu for our group. We were told that our guest could have their choice of drink and dessert. They did get to choose their drink but their dessert was pre-chosen for... More

Arrived on time for reservation which hostess had mistakenly given to someone else with the same first name. A glance at her notebook showed an erratic bunch of scribbles--I found my own reservation and showed it to her. She shrugged it off, pointed us to a table, and we waited 10 minutes for a server. Although we eventually were able... More

The Chocolate Angel is a great little cafe tucked into an antique mall. I had the trio of sandwich, soup, and pasta salad. The food is excellent. The staff was a little slow. We waited a long time for our check. Overall we loved it!
