Best value monday lunch buffets. Amazing food, amazing price! Keep up the good food! Recommended any number of times!
You get a lot for very little money. They have an awesome Monday night buffet for $6:99. They have noon and Sunday night buffets also. Last night they had Chicken masala, tendoori, beef ven da loo [excuse my spelling], some meatballs, and vegetable spaghetti - which was new and very different. Fried potatoes and puffy delicious nan are great here,... More
This place is the best food in dallas ,loved the restaurants food. The buffet is a must plus it is reasonable priced lunch or dinner. The picture on the walls were so dreamy. The manager lady Mrs. Nine is excellent she makes it even better, she brings the essence of hospitable indian lady's .
We were visiting the area for 3 days and went to Mumtaz expecting the typical weekend Indian buffet. It was most satisfying. The hostess was very welcoming and the chef (looked like he could be from bangladesh) gave a nice eastern Indian flavor to the dishes. I loved the goat curry. This is a limited selection buffet (no fish, very... More
we're there on a friday evening with some visitors from Asia. Food took quite a long time to come, servings were acceptable portions. We've requested for "indian spicy" and I am really surprised to get somwhat spicier food. that's a +1 to me. But the taste, and the preparations seems to be sub par. I've tried to show Tandoori to... We have 3 kids and 6 gradchildren, and it is the only place everyone agrees on. We celebrated Mother's Day there, and my birthday....just recently. Also, on Sunday and Monday nights they have buffets.....very reasonable. I don't know of another Indian food place that has evening buffets. The lunch buffets are delicious, too! We love the chicken masala, and tendouri.... More
Mumtaz is our regular Indian restuarant that we visit. In Dallas there are many choices but this place knows how to deliver good food with fantastic service. The owner is very nice to work with and very accomadating. We usually have vegeterian food and recommend Panner makhani and saag paneer from here
The restaurant is located in a popular corner at 75 and Campbell. The food is Indian or related. Very small variety. Almost all items are super hot spicy. You can barely taste the actual food items (chicken, beef goat or whatever). All taste the same. Hot Spicy and you will find your self eating more and more and eventually sweet... More
We love the lunch buffet. The selection is not large, but it is certainly adequate. The soups are delicious as are all the other choices. I like that the food is fresh and hot (temperature wise) and not lukewarm like so many buffets. Plus the price is low and the food is great.
From the friendly greeting you receive as you walk in to the thank you for coming as you leave, Mumtaz is a place that provides the flavors of various Indian regions. The staff talks the time to explain the dishes that you may not be familiar with so that you will feel you can try new items that you might... More
