Good Mexican and other food

We had chicken enchiladas and chili relleno plate. Both very good and both served with beans, rice, plenty of cheese and a small side salad. Corn chips and salsa served as soon as we came in. Friendly service.

We were driving through the town towards big bend. This restaurant has great Mexican food. The staff is mostly all Spanish speaking, but we didn't have problem communicating with them about our order even though we don't know Spanish. Great food!

This little cafe is one of the few places to eat if you happen to find yourself in Presidio but even beyond the supply and demand factor it is worth a stop. The red sauce is excellent. Get the enchiladas, they are very good too, smothered in the red sauce. They also have a rich menudo on the weekends, and... More

Stopped by El Patio after a trip along the River Road. There are not a whole lot of restaurants in Presidio, so I didn't get my hopes up when I came across El Patio. I had the cheese enchiladas and I absolutely love enchiladas. I've had my share of enchiladas and probably yours too. And despite its out-of-the-way location and... More

After many miles on two wheels, trip advisor pointed us to a little off the beaten path restaurant called El Patio. Very clean establishment, friendly staff and excellent Mexican food. Great parking just across the street made it easy. They take credit cards. Will be back on my next Big Bend trip.

The food here is simply delicious. If you like or love enchiladas, stop here to eat. You will be glad you did. Take the River Road from Terlingua to Presidio. It's a great half day road trip that feels like you drove to Mexico lunch.

Ambiance was consistent with the wait staff and food. Hit the spot for lunch. Drove through Presidio during our summer road trip.

The food was far better than I imagined. I had the El Patio Dinner and it was like a sample of really great food. You definitely need to get the beef fajitas with it seasoned better than I have ever tasted.

My wife loves chile rellenos, and swears she has never had better than El Patio in Presidio. Their salsa was fresh and great tasting, and I liked their enchilladas. This was a great find on our trip out to Big Bend, and highly recommend going there if you want some great food at a reasonable price.

Was in Lubbock on business and the El Patio was right next to my hotel. I should have had a clue that it was good when I saw the parking lot full. The service was excellent and the food was also plentiful, well priced, and good. I would absolutely recommend it and will go there again when I'm in Lubbock.
