I was in Presidio, Tx recently on business. We ate at El Patio because there seemed to be a lot of cars out front ( mand because there are not many restaurants to choose from ). We were not disappointed, nor were we overwhelmed. It was the only restaurant that sold beer, so that moved it up a notch in... More

I love eating lunch and breakfast at this place, the portions are big and very tasty. Their Mexican food has a true home taste that is hard to get in other places, however their services are slow, and their dinners have been awful, I guess this is because they want to leave and are tired, but the 2 times. I've... More

The menu here has a lot of variety, and the food is ok. We ate here 3 times while in the Big Bend region, and the quality of the food was consistent. The service was ok at best, sometimes we were completely ignored. Our dinners were of normal size portions with fresh veggies and hot salsa. The breakfast portions were... More

We stopped here on our way back from mexico. Great location, right on the highway. Service was a little slow, and we had to retrieve our own silverware. Food was hot and fresh. They don't bring water you have to ask for it. Overall it was average and we have had better.

As part of bicycle tour through West Texas, we rode to Presidio and were shuttled to El Patio. Food was really pretty good. Chile Rellanos not too greasy, chicken beef fatijas well seasoned. Excellent service as well. Recommended.

Stopped in for lunch just as the buffett ended so had to order from the menu. At 2PM it was $70 for 4 people. We did recieve good service at first, but then our waiter found something better to do with one of the locals and left the restuarant. The lady that rang us up seemed to guess at what... More

Good Tex Mex, excellent service, south of the border atmosphere. The taco meat could have been a little more original, but the lemon pie was great!

Avoid this place !!!! last Saturday ( 8/18/2012 ) I waited 20 minutes for a menu and 30 minutes for the food that was cooked in rancid grease. We refused to eat the food, my daughter found a black pubic looking hair in her omelet. The waiter never came back to our table even though we were the only customers... More

I ate here four times while in Presidio on business. (There are only three places in town to eat, and one is a Subway.) The breakfasts were large and well-priced, even if average in taste. The lunch special was filling and a reasonable value. Service was quick and friendly. The clientele seemed purely local.
