We had grilled haddock and the world famous chicken pot pie for lunch. Both were excellent and without a doubt one of the best lunches we have ever had. Everything was perfect! Steve is the greatest, too, with his easy-going, friendly manner. Highly recommended.

Delicious homemade food. Chicken pot pies, chicken and dumplings, Thanksgiving dinner, burgers, fish, meatloaf, banana split pie - we have tried it all. Lunches come with a little salad and dessert. Not sure why the dinners don't but you are usually so stuffed it doesn't make a difference. Steven, the server is entertaining. A tidbit about this place, On Thanksgiving,... More

The lunch specials are a great value, usually $6.95 for entree, small salad, ice tea and dessert. All baked goods are homemade. Go on Wednesday for Chicken and Dumplings or Thursday for Chicken Pot Pie. Great breakfast deals too! We had the omelet special for $3.95. Take note it is an older cafe that has been not updated in decades.... More

We stopped in on the way home for some breakfast. The server was excellent, never had to ask for a refill. He entertained everyone in the restaurant made everyone's visit enjoyable. This business is set up for success. Great job, I'll be back.

They have pastries that are huge and delicious! Our breakfast was delicious and the wait person is a real joy to get to know.

This restaurant is owned and run by a man who knows how to make good food. Add to that, he has personality galore. The staff is attentive and the experience is down home. Don't go here for the ambience. The place is tiny with limited parking. It is worth your while.

Once seated the entertainment begins... at this wonderful family owned and operated place that serves up delicious meals at very reasonable prices. Steve will take your order and tell you a story while strolling around the tables tempting patrons with some of the most delicious pastries you will ever have. It's a fun place and not to be missed.

Family owned and run restaurant which is literally a hole in the wall but, don't let the unassuming exterior fool you. They serve excellent home style breakfasts and lunches. Steve, the waiter and manager, is very gregarious and is constantly flying around the dining room engaging in chit chat with the customers who often end up talking between the tables... More
