the atmosphere there was very fun but the food was subpar and boring. Kids will love it for its pirate theme but the adults will have to deal with pricey ok-ish food.

Our group enjoyed shrimp tacos and gumbo, and all raved about how tasty they were. The comlimentary, airy biscuits to start the meal were wonderful. We also enjoyed the gumbo and chicken salad with walnuts and pineapple. Service was prompt and friendly.

In early December we purchased gift certificates during a server promotion contest. Purchase $30 in certificates for $20. Since the original purchase date, NEW policies place many restrictions on the use of the $10 certificate. None of these restrictive policies were in place when certificates were purchased. We are very angry and feel unfairly treated. Use caution when buying any... More

A great dining experience. A huge selection of seafood, cooked to perfection. Reasonable prices, and fantastic staff. Suitable for the whole family, and has a very scenic view of the ocean and the causeway to South Padre Island.

Great restaurant right on the water. We had a table near the window and we could see all the way over to spi. The food was good, and we all enjoyed the nautical themed restaurant.

To be fair, we just stopped in for a snack so we can't rate the rest of the food at Pirates Landing, but the Calamari was HORRIBLE. Tough, flavorless, the Marinara sauce was NOT good either. BUT the complimentary biscuits and honey were GREAT! Service was very good.

The biscuits they bring out before your meal are very good with i think honey drizzled all over them. The philly cheesesteak was huge. They have the biggest round take I have ever seen.

As a themed restaurant, it was both a fun and delicious experience for little ones! Good selection of seafood entrees (because really, why go to a seafood place if not for seafood??), generous servings although a tad pricey (must be the kitschy decor!). Their kids menu is quite generous although mostly fried. Definitely walk the pier but bring a windbreaker!
