Lovely to sit outside, but poor food

Very nice location on the water can't make up for the less than average food. To his credit, the manager was apologetic about the icky corn on the cob, and removed my son's uneaten, tasteless "chicken fried chicken" from our bill. Our server was nice, but couldn't answer basic questions about the... read more

We recently attended Sandfest in Port Aransas , We went to Fins for supper on Saturday evening, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. We waited about 35 minutes for a table , well okay , but this is where things went downhill.... our waiter took our drink order , delivered our drinks and we did not see him for 30 minutes... More

Fins is another of our "everytime we go" Port Aransas stops. We ALWAYS sit on the deck overlooking the harbor (and "new" Pirate Ship!). We almost always get a burger or some sort. On this trip, my wife stuck with the bacon cheeseburger. Thick cheddar and bacon MAKE this burger. She got the thin sliced onion rings (a must, even... More

We both had shrimp; one was coconut crusted and the other was grilled with a fantastic dipping butter made with cream and melted cheese! Bread was yummy and sides well prepared. Would definitely recommend their food!

Fins is a definite must do while in Port Aransas. The view of all the boats and waterways is priceless. Food was delicious I had the Tuna Steak, and was great. Very friendly staff and everything was clean and they were able to keep the Seagull's away.

We went in about 9:00 on a Saturday night. They were nice. More for the younger crowd. The food good- but a bit on the expensive side for what it was. $11.00 for a hamburger and fries.

This place is all about the location on the marina, water views, outside seating and next to Roberts Point Park. Gumbo and crab cakes weren't too bad but the $9 virgin piña colada too pricey not in bar setting. Menu is also limited. However you can have a nice waterfront meal, save 10% by showing your kahootz dolphin encounter tour... More

Average food at a decent location doesn't quite make a memory that I feel deserves a recommendation. I liked our server - Allison - but the whole experience was somewhat disappointing. The outside seating was nice and the weather was OK so it was perfect for a place to have lunch if only the food was just a little better.... More

Fins has an outside deck on the harbor that would have been nice. However, the weather was too cold for us to sit outside. We had a hard time hearing each other talk, partly do to a number of children (which were generally well behaved) and partly due to bad acoustics in the building. We liked the food--calamari appetizer, grilled... More

A friend and I were in town visiting for spring break. After reading good reviews, we decided to stop at Fins. We ordered the crab cake app to start. Neither of us are super picky eaters, but they came out so burned we had to send them back. About 20 seconds after receiving our crispy cakes, our server brought our... More
