We stopped in for lunch and ordered a Fins Original Burger and order of Coconut Rum Shrimp. The burger was fine, and tasted very good, Fries were crisp.   The shrimp was overcooked, dry and after peeling off the breading we found very tiny dry shrimp.   For a $13 appitizer, this was not very good.  Other items on the menu... Never been before. Prices are high as noted in other reviews. Restaurant is clean and bright with a nice view of the marina and pirate ship right outside. Food is typical fried fish/burger joint fare. No real star player on the menu. This is the type of place that I would not order the most expensive thing on the menu-... More

They advertise Monday all you can eat shrimp for 10.99. We were there with a group of 20 people arrived before any other patrons in the resturant was last to be waited on because our server became to busy. Only 2 waitresses on the floor finally received our plate which had 5 shrimp and lots of French fries. Waited for... More

We went for lunch, thinking the cost might not be as expensive as dinner but the menu was the same. We both got seafood gumbo which was good but very spicy. The crackers that were served with the gumbo were at least a year old. A cup of gumbo was $6.00. The service was good and we were right on... More

My family had a Friday night dinner at Fins after Christmas. My mom and I shared a shrimp platter with fries and hush puppies, my father had the grilled shrimp, and my sister had a burger and fries. We've eaten at Fins a bunch over the years and find it to be consistently good. The staff is always friendly and... More

Found this place via Trip Advisor. Like most places the reviews were mixed, but it was in walking distance of our hotel. I had a shrimp po boy, my cousin had shrimp tacos. My sabwich was very good, and the side of sweet potato fries as well. Cousin was more than happy with his tacos.

Fins is quite different from any place we have dined before. It offers BYOF, bring your own fish. A local member of our party, an avid fisherman, stopped by his house on to "pick up the fish", which seemed rather odd. Upon arrival at Fins he handed over the bag of fish to the man who greeted us. The same... More

We went here with a large group. The service was excellent considering the number of people. The popcorn shrimp was very good - not greasy and not over cooked. The Half pound cheese burger was not over cooked, a little pink and very tasty. Excellent french fries, not too salty, lightly crispy. Nice view of the ships too. We will... More

The location is great--right on the dock. Other than that, another reviewer nailed it: 5 star prices, 2 star food, 1 star service. We paid $18.99 for six average sized coconut shrimp that were fairly tasteless; $12.99 for 5 chicken strips and fries. The service was slow.

We loved the menu and its variety of seafood choices. I enjoyed the fish tacos with chiptole ranch and my husband loved the crabby burger (huge crab cake on sourdough bun). Even the fries were great! Very good food!
