As a solo patron I always sit at the bar and dine there, however you must come early or late to get a barstool! Always ask "bartender Dave" about the specials not on the menu. The owner Guy is very creative and always has new creations not listed. The Pelican is very very popular with the locals and regular out-or-towners.... More

Great little place ! White tablecloths and all.... Food has always been good here, if there's a wait just grab a drink at the bar. Staff is very knowledgeable and yes the sushi is great too ! Some dishes are a little pricey but worth it ... Atmosphere is quaint and casual and locals there do seem a little snooty... More

This appetizers are the best. The ribs, the dips, the shrimp dishes, all wonderful. Nick the bartender makes great drinks. I always enjoy myself when I visit the Pelican Club. Its a little pricey but well worth it.

After almost a decade of giving this place chance after chance, despite a steep decline over the last five years, I am out of chances. It seems that every time we get a particular waiter, we receive terrible service and over cooked, cold food. Tonight, I could barely swallow the dried out red drum they slapped on my overpriced platter.... More

We tried this place based on reviews and the recommendation from the front desk. When we walked up it looked run down and there was nobody eating inside. Inside it didn't look much better and smelled really bad. We were escorted upstairs via what looked like a service area. This area smelled worse than the restaurant. We sat down and... More

Slow service and the place seemed kind of old and run down. Not sure what look they were going for, but it reminded of a seafood place in the early 80's! Not really bothered by the price, but have higher expectations when you order a $34 entree. Food was average. No children's menu at all, or was not offered to... More

We came here for a nice meal and walking up to it we were tempted to walk away; it lacks "curb appeal." But...I was really craving sushi and the reviews were good. The restaurant was busy so we had to wait for a table so if this happens to you, grab a drink from the bar THEN head upstairs (no... More

Pelican club is always consistently the best food on the island. It is a bit pricey, but so worth it. Sit outside for a view of the Harbor it is very nice.

We have eaten several times at the Pelican Club. It is always very good, and it's hard to decide what to order.

My husband and I have enjoyed many dinners here over the last the last 8 years. We repeatedly have been treated horribly. Our pregnant daughter and her pregnant friends were delayed seating. Tonight our family again waited for over am hour on a Thursday night. I don't care how good the food is and how wonderful the wait staff is... More
