My husband and I came here when all the touristy places were full. The mojitos are great, the fish was well cooked. The waitstaff is very friendly. The only thing I think they may need to modify is to add a few more options for sides.

Food was ok. Shrimp was overcooked and flavorless. Steak was mostly fat. Had higher expectations given the good reviews previously.

The fish tacos were delicious. The chicken sandwich was eh. No kids menu. We were greeted and seated quickly. Our server was ok, not great. The atmosphere was nice. A couple of us order two different fish tacos and all were delicious. The chicken sandwich was boring. There's a bar upstairs which seemed to be hopping.

We've been coming to Port A for 50+ years, putting up with overpriced seafood or horrible tourist fare. We stumbled onto Fish House - it literally looked as if it were closed - and enjoyed a really fantastic, fresh meal. It's a cute place and the staff was very friendly and professional. I had a fun salad and a fresh... More

Walked in and was not greeted, found a waiter and asked if i seated myself. He stated yes and I choose a table under a ceiling fan ( the restaurant was very hot) Asked if it could be turned on and was informed it didnt work. I found another table that had fans near it. There were four of us... More

The food was good, not great and the atmosphere was lacking. The drinks were good, but I have had better. We saw many people sit down and read the menu and get up and leave. We should have taken their advice. I had the shrimp and scallops with pasta, it was covered in butter and the scallops tasted a bit... More

I randomly discovered Fish House while driving around Port Aransas looking for a new place to eat. After reading a few reviews, thought I would give it a try. Service and food were great and the atmosphere was causal yet classy.

Our group of eight went to the Upper Deck upstairs of the Fish House mid-afternoon during the week while in Port A for a visit. We each ordered a drink. There were many mojitos available for order that were made with fresh fruit. I recommend the pineapple mojito as it was very good! Since we were the only ones in... More

We went there last Wednesday for all you can eat fish and it was good, so good we went back on Thursday for their shrimp fest which was also good. Love the salad choices, service was great on both visits. We will definitely be going back for more dinners and lunches.
