Nothing fancy, but the food was great and the staff very friendly. They stay open on regular hours you can count on which is a plus here where many places just seem to be open when they feel like it before the big season starts.

We walked in on a Sunday night to a uncrowded restaurant, approx. 6 tables were full. No one greeted us, so we chose a table and sat down. After 3 different waitstaff spoke to our table, my husband finally got someone to understand and take his drink order. Then when it was brought to the table, it was wrong. He... More

We ate at the Cancun Cantina for a Sunday brunch. They have a big menu with lots of choices. I think everyone at the table was content with what they ordered. My silverware was at first dirty and needed replacement. With that fixed the food was fine. The atmosphere is that of eating in a strip mall. The rice does... More

We went there for an early breakfast and will not go back. Breakfast burrito was very bland and the salsa was very poor quality. Our waitress clearly did not want to be there either.

No cute Mexican décor here like San Juans down the street. Cancun Cantina is about food. The service was quick and friendly. The food was fresh, hot and tasty. The chips were nice and warm and the salsa pretty good. Would we eat here again? Yes! The place is clean. The interior does have an institutional look to it. Pale... More

This is homemade TexMex at it's best. It's in a little strip center outside of downtown and I haven't been disappointed yet. We would usually go for lunch and as great as their regular menu prices are, the lunch specials are outstanding. This past week I had the lunch special-2 enchiladas, a crispy beef taco, rice and beans for $5.99!... More

I'm not a fan of Tex Mex. I prefer authentic Mexican food. The food was edible. Don't think I would go back. However, my hubby really enjoyed his Michelada.

This is our second or third time to eat at Cancun. The food is consistently good in this lively place. Service, once again, was very good. Food was exceptional as always. I had the Pastor plate, the flavor just jumps off of the plate. A couple with us shared a Parillada plate that included grilled beef and chicken along with... More

I love this place for breakfast. I love the migas with cheese and avacado. The salsa and service is great. There is a reason why the parking lot is always full.

Food -- decent. Margarita -- decent. Service -- decent. Salsa -- very good. Ambiance -- None. I usually don't give a darn about ambiance, so much so, I'm surprised I know the definition. But, I have been to hospital cafeterias with better ambiance. Looks like a worn 1950's Woolworths.
