Very small place, so get there early! The food was great....I had the best crab legs & my husband had the seafood platter. Both were excellent. Service was excellent too!!
My husband and I discovered this wonderful restaurant last winter. I was fortunate to go back again this year. The seafood dinners are delicious, and they have friendly service and a good selection of wine and beer. I loved the stuffed flounder. My husband, who spent several years in New Orleans, enjoyed their Cajun-style food and also the raw oysters.... More
It may look like a dive ... but inside is a hot-spot of good tastes, great gumbo and clam chowder and even cloth napkins like the 5 stars. And after a wonderfully prepared fish dish or some of the best fried shrimp any where ... have a slice of Gill's Bourbon Pecan Pie ... a slice of heaven and the... More
I'm back again to add another review but I have to stress again that I am not a reviewer...this is the 3rd review I've ever written and the first one was for BS&S as well. It's just so nice to see a place that does it right and continues to do so. They don't grow, change and try to improve... More
We ate there last night. We got there about 7ish or so. The place is small and it was packed. We got the last table available. There is seating outside but the weather was not conducive and it was dark. I had the gumbo and it was killer. It came with a mini loaf of fresh bread. Oh, it was... More
We chose this restaurant based on TA's report and weren't disappointed. The place is small, the furniture half home made, half recycled, but fits for a well used beach type restaurant. Our waiters, (yes two), were attentive, helpful and were having fun taking care of their customers. They recommended dishes based on our need for spicy food. My wife chose... More
Stopped in for lunch. Asked about oysters on the half shell, they had them- at $16.99/doz. so they were staying in their shells. Lunch was average to good but for the price, I'd rather have excellent. We had crab stuffed flounder and grouper pontchartrain. The pontchartrain at $19.99 was average to good (would have liked FAB) - and a bit... More
We have eaten twice at this small restaurant and both times have had very delicious entrees. The grilled shrimp and fried shrimp are amazing and the choices of two sides are a nice variety. The Key Lime pie is really delicious.
OMG...I had been craving oysters on the half shell and I ate my fill for 2 days at Beach and Station. The oysters were ice cold, big, plump, and delicious. Try the oyster shooters if you like a little Tex-Mex kick to them. This was my first time and they were awesome. Friendly staff, great food, quaint environment,...my favorite eatery... More
This is only our 2nd week in Port A and our 4th time out for dinner. What a great restaurant find tonight! Beach and Station Street Grill will be seeing us frequently if every dinner lives up to what we ate tonight. We began our meal with an appetizer of 6 raw oysters on the half shell. They were extremely... More
