A group of family and friends went for lunch. We all had different things. Service was fast and friendly. Sat outside as the weather was very nice. Have nothing too complain about except a couple of us ordered tap beer and was charged $7.75 for a 22oz glass. I think that is way out of line. It was... read more

This was our last of 3 dinner meals while in the area. The peel and eat shrimp was some of the freshest ever and the service was very efficient. Don't save room for dessert as the offerings were a little lacking.

Loved the building and decor. Friendly service. Good food. We were there on a Tuesday night over the Christmas holiday season, and we were able to be seated and served quickly. Nice place to eat.

Didn't know what to expect after reading the mixture of reviews. Wasn't expecting much and the four of us were pleasantly surprised. Though it was fairly crowded for dinner (many of the Aransas restaurants were closed Tuesday night in December) our service was very good and the food, refills, and check arrived promptly. The four of us had dinners that... More

Great place to watch boats and ships come in on the veranda. Big screen TV for watching sports. Crowded in summer so go off hours. I had the fish meal, way too greasy. My friends had shrimp and liked it. Not cheap.

We drove to in Port A. on Sat. for the day...We decided to have lunch. Quite frankly, most of the eating establishments in Port A. are shabby shells of left over construction material that resemble buildings....Most cater for the boozer/wings/burgers/pizza folks that will eat anything that vaguely resemble food.....and booze. We have eaten at Trout Street's nearby competitors on the... More

Great food with a wonderful view! Loved dining on the outdoor deck! Service was a little too fast, didn't have enough time to visit with a beverage and dine on appetizer before the main course came out. Really can't complain with super speedy service though!

We met friends in Port Aransas,Texas on October 26-28 and were starving when we arrived. Called 'Port A' by Texans, this sweet little town is pretty quiet during the off-season and we didn't know where to eat. We drove down Cotter Ave. and accidentally spotted Trout Street Bar & Grill set back from the street. Since I love old buildings... More

Trout Street is one of our favorite stops in Port A. Good salads, good seafood. I love the location. It's great to sit out on the patio at night near the marina and enjoy the lovely view.

Although the setting is lovely, both the building and view, the restaurant has a neglected feel to it both inside and out. The menu and food was average. The waiter brought a large basket of packaged saltine crackers when our salad was served which really struck me as odd. Neither of us ordered soup, so there wasn't any obvious explanation... More
