We ate here Sunday Aug 10 at 7:15 and were seated right away (which was a surprise since we had just left Virginia's with a 1 hr wait) on the deck. It had been a few years since we've visited this restaurant and the décor/ambiance was pretty much the same. Nice to be able to sit and see the marina/boats.... More

My wife had a Belinda Salad and said it was the best she had on the Island. The grand kids had hamburgers which they devoured so they must have been good! We also had the grilled tuna which was very good. My battered Mahi Mahi was a little dry. The service was friendly and attentive. The appetizers were pricey -... More

When you arrive at a eatery you would expect the first people to great you to be friendly since they are the hostesses, but not this case with the two young ladies at the front door. Not sure they even said hello, just how many. After that, the waiter was a pleasant surprise, nice and friendly. Liked the seating at... More

Well, this is not our favorite place in Port A, but we were in a hurry and there was not a wait (makes sense right?). The service was extremely slow, however once our order was placed the food came very quickly. A second drink was ordered and never made it to the table...Our son ordered the fried pickles, they were... More

Nice location and the restaurant is attractive with a lovely porch overlooking the marina. Our server was scattered brained, did not know the menu and brought my husband the wrong drink. The fresh catch black drum- grilled, was very good, (the only good part of our meal), presented on a plate that was sloppily done with rice pilaf and sautéed... More

This restaurant has a beautiful location, backing up to the harbor, and was particularly beautiful after dark with all the harbor boats lit up. Our service was really outstanding, our waiter was attentive, thoughtful, and really patient with our large group. The appetizers we got were pretty good, especially the harbor fries. I can't recommend the restaurant because the food... More

We went to Trout Street for lunch one day and dinner the next. Lunch was great - shrimp tacos were outstanding. Dinner was another story - we ordered the grilled Amberjack and had to send it back because it was way overcooked. The second round was better, but still too dry. One of our party had the blackened Amberjack over... More

We ate outside on a deck looking onto the boat docks. Not really a great ocean view, but the boats are big and pretty. No birds flying around trying to eat our food. I had the gumbo which is made in house at trout Street Bar and Grill, I do recommend.

Luckily there was no wait for our party of 2 to sit on the porch. Our waitor was extremely polite but the service was extremely slow. The food was good, but a bit pricey, especially for how slow the service was.
