Saw this place in Texas Highways magazine and had to try it. Very disappointed in service, food, atmosphere and overall was a terrible dining experience. Highly overpriced and poor quality. Won't go back and am writing Texas Highways also.

I love this place. Tiny small with a really intimate feel. I hope they never remodel because it would ruin the ambiance. We were here a year ago and just couldn't wait to come back. The waitstaff loves what they do and it shows. I recommend the Kreuz Market Sausage and Sauerkraut appetizer. Red Snapper was good. Most importantly the... More

Ordered the 10oz sirloin steak and 10 shrimp tonight and was not disappointed in any way. Meat was cooked perfectly and the prawns tasted great. Lovely service from our waitress who was incredibly helpful when she realised she'd taken the wrong order. Great authentic surroundings in the restaurant add to the great feel and charm of this place. Highly recommended.

We have been dining here for several years now and always seem to come back. The menu is a little perplexing to get through, between the blackboard and the printed items, on your first visit. But if you take the time, there are some very unique dishes that won't be found at the other island restaurants.

This is a small, but amazing resteaurant. If you are out on a date with your S.O. and you want a special dinner Shells should be considered as this is second to none!

We come to Shell's every time we visit Port A, and I'm never disappointed in the food, the cleanliness, or the service! The waitress was very attentive to our needs, and prompt despite the crowd. Try the pesto. This is what God orders when he eats out!

I figure that you can get pasta anywhere, but my husband wanted to go. I was not impressed with the menu, even though it has a varied selection. It seems to be a hot spot. It only has nine tables so be prepared to wait. It takes a while to get your food after you place your order.

We've been coming here for the past 9 years every summer and we were hesitant on coming back after some recent bad reviews. I'm glad we went back because both the service and food were excellent. Fresh food and the restaurant was very clean. We are looking forward to returning next summer.

My husband and I stopped for lunch. The place was crowded but we got a table. The restaurant is small and tight with maybe 10-12 small tables. This was off season on September 22nd. I had the Pasta with shrimp, of which there were few. My husband had an appetizer tuna served raw. Just so, so. We won't be back.... More
