Very small neighborhood restaurant with good seafood and great service. I had the ceviche - it was good, but not the best I've had. Husband had a salad which he enjoyed. We split the grilled shrimp entree which was very good - especially the julienned veggies - yum yum!

What a nice inexpensive high quality restaurant. It is small so on the week end or during the summer they will have a waiting list from 15 minutes to 1 hour. Best to get there between 5 and 6 pm. Entries specialize from delicious Italian to wonderful seafood. In addition to the menu they offer a large variety of specials... More

My family ate there on one of those cold, rainy evenings that another reviewer mentioned but it was cozy and there was a space heater to keep the restaurant warm. It is a small area so don't try to have personal conversations because you could hear other people talking in the room and I am sure they could you as... More

The food at Shells is good, but the prices are high. The restaurant is very small. If you go on a rainy and cold day, be prepared to be cold every time someone opens the door. Since there is no place to wait inside, you would probably be wise to give the host a cell phone number so that you... More

I took my family here today and that was a big mistake. I ordered a pasta/shrimp bowl and there were exactly 2 (yes, two!) shrimp in the $16 dish. Oh, these weren't shrimp from the gulf that lies a couple hundred feet away, but rather from a bag of frozen shrimp! They were no more than one inch long. The... More

Very small but cute restaurant. The food smelled and tasted wonderfully! A bit pricey, however everything is made from scratch. Plan on a wait to get a table.

Food was excellent from appetizer to dessert. Eat there every time I am in Port A. Seating is a little cozy but doesn't affect service

Quaint, clean, friendly staff, accommodating to vegetarians...they even went so far as to substitute vegetable stock in a recipe so I could eat it. I go here every time I'm at port A. The best restaurant here by far!

I have been to Shells at least 12 times. My coworker and I go every time we are in Corpus Christi. The food has always been excellent and the service is great too. This restaurant is small with limited seating which makes the experience more personal. I have tried several different menu items (my favorite is the steak and shrimp)... More

Im a frequent diner. Italian-European-Mexican influened menu. Looking at menu and after your experience here you will know this is an experienced, well traveled chef. Real food here. This is not anything like any other food in island. Pasta is excellent. Service really good. This is a really small place so expect wait during high season or try going right... More
