Great meal

One of the best dinners I ever had on the island. It is small and expensive but has an excellent diverse menu that is somewhat cosmopolitan. Plan to spend a good buck even for a small party, but it is an easy walk from most of the hotels, and we go back mostly in celebration of something.

Expect to wait to be seated. The place has maybe 10 tables at most. After waiting about 45 minutes to get a table, we were all pretty hungry. My daughter had lobster ravioli, I had a shrimp and pasta plate, my husband had grilled fish and rice. My daughter's plate had only 3 ravioli and I think there might have... More

One of my favorite places to eat in Port A. Very small restaurant with excellent food. Their seafood and vegetables taste fresh. There is so many choices it is hard to decide. But, I've never been disappointed. Be sure and save room for dessert. They're awesome.

We love the house salad with their yummy homemade dressing ( they now sell it to go.) We add the Gorgonzola cheese to really take it over the top! We also love the warm seasoned mixed olives appetizer served with sliced focaccia bread.. Best appetizer deal anywhere! The pasta dishes are great and service always amazing. We really like the... Most Port A places seem to be closed on Monday night, so we count on Shells being open Mondays each time we visit. And, so do many others because there often is a wait for a table in this tiny (9 tables inside) place. It is well worth the wait, however. Along with their established menu comes a large chalk... We are a vegetarian family and this is the best NICE place in Port A for us to eat. It is expensive, but we have never been disappointed.

Shells is a small restaurant almost always a wait but not too long. worth the wait. Food is excellent. Some prices quite high but also some reasonable items on the menu. Service has always been quite good. Wish they would add their tomato basil soup which was my favorite!

Absolutely love this place, we eat there every time we are on vacation. Pretty small though. Only about 10 tables and fairly close to each other. Other than that, amazing!

Food terrific but wish we had more info on menu before we went. Took our 16 year old granddaughter and she loved it but her 14 year old picky brother was not happy

Delicious food, expertly prepared with fresh ingredients. We tried the tuna sashimi appetizer, shrimp with red sauce, and grouper tacos. All were nicely presented and tasted great. I wish I could remember our waitress's name, as she was attentive and gave great advice. Though Shells was full, we had fast service and did not feel rushed to leave. I can... More
