New experience for us.

Thought we would try something new. The Adults really enjoyed it, however my kids were not so impressed. Nothing to do with bad food or service, just not their cup of tea. The waitress felt so bad that my son didn't like what she ordered, so she brought him a different meal free of charge. If you... read more

My family and I have been going here for years. The food and atmosphere has always been great! Definitely like eating at a restaurant in south Louisiana. We always get the boiled food, the shrimp is awesome and so is the crawfish when in season. The gumbo there is wonderful too, truly authentic flavor. Great place for families to go... More

Crayfish boil was excellent, ribs were good (nice option for the non seafood eaters) beans and rice are the best I've had anywhere including New Orleans. The service was quick and courteous, don't come expecting a five star dining experience,it's old school throw the food on the table and get your hands dirty, but the food itself will hold its... Five of us had an enjoyable dinner on March 14, 2014. Very casual atmosphere - plastic utensils, butcher paper table covering, no plates for the Hungry Cajun option of shrimp, crab, sausage, corn & potatoes. Friendly efficient service and very good value. Recommended.

Three of us had the crab boil. Flavor was excellent. Texture of the sausage was more like a Polish dog but it had a good flavor. Portion size was excellent. We are big eaters and were satisfied. Definitely recommend this place.

I ordered a pound of shrimp and the boyfriend had the Hungry Cajun with Red Beans & Rice. Our server, Jeff was extremely personable and attentive. Our food arrived promptly and super hot! Everything was cooked to perfection. The seasonings were flavorfully spicy. In my opinion, their red beans & rice was AMAZING! I enjoyed the atmosphere and service. The... More

We were leery to try it because of so few cars in the parking lot at the same time when other restaurants' lots were packed. We visited this place twice - first time we just had key lime pie, which was okay. Second time was for dinner. My fiancé had jambalaya and one other rice-based dish (red beans & rice... More

We are here after finding that every other restaurant on Beach St. had a minimum 30 min. wait. Don't expect plates, cups or eating utensils that are not disposable. All of the tables are covered in butcher paper, and we watched the waiters bus tables by simply picking up the paper and all of the items sitting on top in... More

Love the laid back atmosphere and the good food. Had the boil for two which is really too much food for two. The boil has just the right amount of "kick" without knocking you out of your seat. Wish they had a full bar.
