delicious seafood; still growing into its britches

A fancy-ish (read: cloth tablecloths and napkins but Hawaiian shirts totally apropos), cute little place with some seriously yummy seafood. A fancy-ish (read: cloth tablecloths and napkins but Hawaiian shirts totally apropos), cute little place with some seriously yummy seafood. I'd agree with some of the other reviews that it's overpriced for what it is/portion size, and there are places they could improve the experience... for instance, menu is paper stapled together-- a plus as a sign of a restaurant... One of the best "gourmet" restaurants in Port A. I live here and have visited this place many times. You get a taste of local food with a definite flare. It is not a dress-up type of restaurant for lunch, but I might wear church type clothing for dinner. The only problem is that the days, hours change often. I... More

This restaurant recently changed from lunch only to dinner only. It was very good previously and not too pricey for lunch. Now that they are open for dinner and the same owners closed the high end restaurant a block away for dinner, they have changed this place to a higher price point as Beulah's was, but the food just doesn't... My wife, son and I ate here for the first time. My wife and son not liking seafood, had to go with the only other food they had which was fried chicken. The fried chicken was good and had a good flavor. I ordered the tuna tacos and was not very impressed. There was not much flavor and small portions.... More

We LOVE the food and exceptional service at Liberty Hall Inferno. BTW…dinner is served on real plates, not plastic. The chef’s chalkboard creations, favorite menu items, and gift for layering flavors on all the gastronomic lovelies is definitely noteworthy. The servers are always spot-on when explaining the dishes and flavors and their attentive and friendly service is truly appreciated. We... More

This place even had table cloths, unusual for a beach town. Quiet atmosphere, menu was a bit limited. Service was excellent. I had the shrimp and cheesy grits that were fine, not great. My hubby had the fried shrimp platter and it came on a paper plate. I really don't understand it as I did not see another meal come... More

Wife and I went on a Sunday and had a Reuben sandwich and cheese burger. The Reuben was shockingly small and the coleslaw was ok. Wife's cheeseburger was good. Our bill with ice teas was almost $50. The service was fine and atmosphere nice. The couple next to us both had chicken and sent it back. Bottom line is mediocre... More

Seafood was great. If you are tired of seafood, try the Sunday fried chicken. Sweet, spicy, and amazing!! The tea came with simple syrup which was a really nice touch. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Definitely will go back.

We were in Port A looking for a good place to eat, having tried most of the fried seafood places (not that there's anything wrong with that). Inferno delivered. The food and staff were fantastic and they had a good and reasonably priced wine list. We had the whole pompano for 2 and it was delicious. Definitely recommend you stop... More
