Great Anniversary Celebration!

We ate in a dining room that had about 6 tables in view of part of the kitchen. Don't know if this was the only dining area. If it was, it's a small place, and reservations would be highly recommended. The atmosphere reminded me of a small cabin/cottage. The proprietors want it to be reminiscent of The Keys, and I... In Port Aransas, everyone wants seafood... me, I just wanted a great steak. I had tried almost all the restaurants in town and then one day decided to try Roosevelt's at the Tarpon Inn. I was not disappointed. I have been 4 times (3 times with friends and one time by myself) I have gotten the petite filet each time... More

We have enjoyed dining at Roosevelt's for a very long time. However, on the last couple of visits our food has not been up to the usual wonderful standards. One thing that we noticed, was the long-time chef was not there when we dined. Some of our friends fish was way overcooked and on others the spice was much too... More

Roosevelt's has been a choice destination for Thanksgiving dinner. What happened this year? They spoiled us, but they weren't there even though we collected various family branches and traveled 400 miles. OK. It's still an excellent restaurant.

Roosevelt's is our only "must go" restaurants on the island. There are many we want to got to but this one we can never miss on our trips to Port A. We've eaten here about 8 times and it never disappoints. The martinis were huge and ice cold which started the evening off on a great foot. We split the... More

We've enjoyed the Thanksgiving feast at Roosevelts for several years, but just heard they will not be serving a dine-in meal..... only takeout. :-( Any suggestions for another dine-in restaurant for the Thanksgiving meal???

Ate here on the strenghth of tripadvisor reviews, No 2 in Port A. First off staff could not find my reservation but they handled it well and found our party a table. I have mixed comments about the food, I did tell the waitress that the steak I had was possibly the BEST steak I had ever eaten in a... More

A complete class "A" restaurant in Port A. Fantastic fresh seafood, excellent steak, nice wine list. Dessert was out of this world (key lime pie). Very small dining room, but a beautiful porch area outside for dining in good weather. Staff knows the menu and is very attentive and made great suggestions to our group. Definitely a "go to" restaurant... More

We didn't make reservations but luckily, the hostess was able to fit us in. Port Aransas is getting more popular so in the future we will make reservations. Anyway, we decided to go whole hog. We started out with the baguette style bread which is warm and topped with herbs and garlic and drizzled with a balsamic butter sauce and... More
