We celebrated my husband's birthday at Roosevelt's. Our food was wonderful and our server, Wendy was terrific; taking photos on multiple cameras, patiently checking to make sure we liked the pictures all while advising on the menu. My daughter loved the coconut shrimp. My husband enjoyed the Grouper, the chicken involtini was devine but mine was the best, sauted red... More

We ate here the last night of our stay Aug 12th and are really glad we found out about this restaurant! We elected to dine early (6pm) after a full day of fun in the sun and no problems changing our reservations from 7pm. When we arrived we were seated in what I would describe as a small intimate dining... More

This restaurant seems to fly below the radar but in our experience it is the best on the island. We have been coming here for four years and have never been disappointed. The food is excellent, the service prompt, attentive and friendly. They offer a variety of good but not too expensive wines. The balsamic bruschetta bread is not to... More

A dear friend recommended this restaurant with the tip that reservations were a must! We were welcomed with very friendly service and quickly fell in love with this small, but fabulous restaurant! We LOVED the open kitchen concept and the Chef personally checked to make sure our food was to our liking! Every single bite was EXQUISITE!!!! The key lime... More

For foodies who truly appreciate amazing fresh cooked ingredients that are turned into masterpieces this is the place for you. We were greeted by the manager who was such a nice man. When our reservations were lost he made sure to take care of us. What a huge deal for such a small place. With only 8 tables on a... More

Good fresh menu with choice of indoor or outdoor courtyard seating. Not a place with a water view but the food and the service make up for it! Six of us had different things and everything was excellent! The stuffed tuna seemed to be the winner for seafood but the crab cake was a close runner up! Wine and liquor... More

I was really looking forward to a having a nice dinner, but unfortunately, left a bit disappointed. I had called for reservations as I had heard they were necessary and was told they had "just had a cancellation and could squeeze us in", I was excited!!. . .funny, when we arrived there were plenty of open tables that were not... Stopped in for a quick drink to enjoy this great historic site. Everything about the Tarpon Inn says history. They even have a few tales of old fisherman visiting from the past. Excellent!

Thank you Roosevelt's for a WONDERFUL first anniversary dinner! We were there on April 25, 2014 and it was our first time to eat there. We had a great waitress and trainee... very attentive! The food was amazing, good bottle of Malbec, lovely atmosphere sitting outside, and again the staff was wonderful. Our waitress gave us complimentary "best bread ever"... More

Walked in for our reservation on Mother's Day. A short, dark haired woman dressed in black [manager? owner?] looked us up and down, and asked if we had reservations. She clearly expected us to say we were walk-ins, and she clearly thought we were dressed inappropriately. I can assure you we were dressed in the same manner as the other... More
