I expect in a town driven by tourism that establishments would work to make peoples visits pleasurable. The lady behind the counter was extremely rude, I guess because we asked about crawfish (which they do not sell). We would have bought fresh shrimp but it was overpriced at $13 per lb.

Our last night in Port A, we both decided that we were too tired to go out to a restaurant so we stopped at the IGA to get a bottle of cheap wine and some crackers. We then headed to the Port A Seafood Co and got a pound of steamed shrimp to take back to the hotel room. The... More

We stopped in for some fresh shrimp and maybe some crab dip to eat at the hotel. The owner was so friendly having us try her shrimp and ceviche. She boiled up the shrimp for us and packed it on ice. It was wonderful - big, fresh shrimp and homemade cocktail sauce. She only sells it in her store the... More

This is the place to buy your fresh jumbo Gulf shrimp and blue crab. It has long been our family's place to buy while on vacation and then fill up the cooler on the way home. Prices are reasonable.

Came in to buy a couple of pounds of shrimp like I do every year but the price and smell got to me. The whole place could use some cleaning. I don't think they have cleaned since last year. This used to be the place to buy seafood. Now I am passing it by. PU

Wonderful place to pick up fresh seafood and take home. The best "huge" shrimp I have ever eaten, truly incredible. The sauces are great and I loved the already prepared spicy shrimp salad. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful about their products. We bought something three days out of the five we were in Port A. They steamed the... More

I stopped here because they had a sign in the window saying they had clams. Unfortunately, they were sold out, but the rest of their products looked very fresh.

We purchased grouper, tilapia (3 lbs total) tarter sauce, lemon butter, cocktail sauce for 45.00. A bit over what we would normally pay, but excellent on the grill. We'd go there again.

Place is always clean. If you want some fresh crab, shrimp, fish, this is the place to go! They will even steam your shrimp for you for free! Best place to go if you want to cook your own seafood at vacation property or at home.
