A good place to spend an evening with family

Great cheese, great wine, great Bloody Mary's. They probably do have the cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen in my life...

This little restaurant is consistently good. I had the T Bone! Yum yum! The sea bass excellent. The atmosphere was nice and lite. The staff was friendly and my water glass was never half empty! Fabulous place! Congrats!

Celebrating my friend's birthday. Started with dirty martini, fantastic bread with garlic & parmesan. Entrees some of the best ever. Server Libby was attentive, informative & even remembered a birthday candle for the ultimate bread pudding desert. Wow. Very impressed. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Saw this restaurant in the list on Trip Advisor and decided to see for ourselves how it was. This place did not disappoint. This is definitely a locals place, which we like, and at a marina. The inside dining room is very small. Reservations are definitely needed no matter when you go! It is pricey and the food is delicious!... More

A little off of the beaten path in Port A, but a good menu, nice wine list and wonderful atmosphere. Roasted garlic bread is a MUST!

Stopped here for brunch on Sunday and wasn't hungry again until Tuesday morning! The Bloody Mary is very spicy and comes with a big chunk of summer sausage and cheese, tasty. Four of us each had a different entree, Eggs Benedict with lobster cake, Shrimp & Grits were excellent, Eggs Florentine and Sausage Hash. Huge servings. The bread before was... More

We have been visiting this restaurant for several years and have generally been pleased. This year, we had a mixed group of 4 adults and 4 teens. The bread and oil with roasted garlic was fantastic and the Chateaubriand was perfect. Most everyone ordered beef and it was all perfectly prepared. The only thing which didn't make the "cut" was... We came here for our anniversary. They went out of their way to make it special. The food and service were superb. We will be back.

Attended a birthday dinner with friends. Good wine selection and food. Server very attentive to our group. Great setting at the Island Moorings Marina. Service a little slower than I would have liked but we were there for fellowship and celebration so speed of service was really not important that evening to our group of eight. La Barateria is a... Excellent food. Nice plated presentation. Amazing omelet and French toast. Huge portions! Had plenty to take home and have another meal. Tight seating area but I was so entranced by my meal, I didn't mind. Will definitely return.
