Sunday Brunch

Excellent food. Nice plated presentation. Amazing omelet and French toast. Huge portions! Had plenty to take home and have another meal. Tight seating area but I was so entranced by my meal, I didn't mind. Will definitely return.

My husband loved this restaurant so we took friends for their last night in Port A. Arrived at opening and they were not ready for customers. Made us wait about 10 min to sit down even though the tables were set and no one else was in the restaurant. The place was stifling hot. I asked if waitress could turn... More

1.0 star rating7/23/2015 Wow. This place use to be great. Lost major employees and am amazed at new staff. We got there at opening time 4pm they were still mopping, hot as hell. We kept plastic menus for fans. Ordered our food. Wine is filed only 1/4 of glass for $9. Then the fun started the place filled up with... More

As usual, the steaks were superb, as were the salads and veggies. This time however, it was so hot inside the restaurant, you really couldn't enjoy the food. Maybe it was because of the heat, but our waitress had a serious attitude and we literally had to flag her down if we wanted more wine, water etc. With tip, our... More

We wanted to try a new place this Sunday, and went here with no expectations. Nice location in the Marina just outside of Port Aransas (next to the airport). Wait staff very friendly and attentive, and not overbearing. But we like more traditional food. The French Toast was definitely unusual - on a roll and a little chewy. The herb... More

Where most places in town close between 2&5 , this spot stayed open open Sunday. The bread oil & roasted garlic were amazing . As we're all our food selections, poke, ahi tuna & shrimp grilled.

La Baritaria is located in a Marina called Island Moorings. The marina has a pretty swimming pool which the restaurant overlooks. You must go outside to watch the sunset on the pleasant deck. Fresh mostly-local fish and landlubber options with veggies (sometimes scarce on island!) Fresh bread with olive oil and whole roasted garlic cloves were delightful. Wait staff good... More

El Barataria is a great find in Port Aransas. This restaurant has a great menu and every dish that we tried was delicious! We started with a selection of mixed Mediterranean olives over cocktails and this was a perfect prelude to the excellent meals to come. I selected the sea bass which was beautifully prepared with rice and spinach. My... More

The food is just outstanding. Remember, you are in Port A. It's not a tuxedo wearing waiter town. If you are looking for impeccable service, drive both to San Antonio. Friendly local folks work here and own the place. Don't be in a hurry, ask what is good, and enjoy the excellent food. We had the salmon appetizer, rare tuna... More
