Yum!

I don't know how anyone could claim rudeness at this restaurant. We never had to ask for a refill on anything, someone was always there to offer coffee or water. The food was phenomenal. Only 7 tables but worth the wait. Best breakfast by far on the island. Pancakes are amazing, as is the shrimp omelet. Great home fries, biscuits and grits. And they are the friendliest. Joe and Frankie and Joanie. Don't miss this gem

parked and proceeded to door of this dumpy looking place. opened door and encountered a tall rude fella who backed me out and pointed to a little sign on door and ask me if I could read. hmmm not a good impression, yes I can read and no I don't want to come in anymore. My sisters and I walked... More

I was so embarrassed after reading your comments. I have enlarged the sign, thank you. The rude fella was my dish washer. He has been replaced with someone considerate of peoples feelings. And a note to anyone reading this comment: Anyone receiving rude attitude will receive their meal on me. I apologize and hope you will return for your meal... More

We came to Frankie's based on reviews. This was our 1st time and we didn't know the protocol for getting our name on the list. We just followed the people in front of us in the door. Apparently you are supposed to write your name on a small whiteboard on the outside of the building. We were asked if we... More

I apologize for our rude dishwasher, he has been replaced. I would have been only happy to replace your pancake, had you told the waitress. Don't know what to say about the crumbs on the floor, but I thank you for bringing it to my attention. Please try us again and the pancakes will be perfect and on me. More

Food was "average", but not worth the $30 we spent. The place is small, and requires a wait (outside). We waited 25 minutes only to be served a basic breakfast that probably cost them $2/meal to make. Typical of the island. Sub-par, and over priced. We wont return.

Frankie's is one of our favorite places on the island. They have some of the best breakfast you'll ever get, but too many people neglect to mention their homemade desserts. The cheesecake will change your life. If they have it on the menu (which they don't every day) you owe it to yourself to have a slice no matter what... More

Really good breakfast. Friendly service. One cook in a really small kitchen so sit back and enjoy all the free coffee refills. It is worth the wait.

There are like 6 tables here in a space that should have 4. We got the only open one. We ordered and waited, and waited, and waited. When we finally got the food it was good. It is quite expensive. VERY casual.

Some of the best comfort and sea food I've had in years, and the people who own it and work there are some of the nicest and personable folks on the island. The food is all fresh, home made, and and worth the wait. A must visit!

I stopped here for breakfast because it was directly across the street from my inn. The food did not disappoint. I had the eggs benedict, and it was the second best I've ever had. The best I've ever had was in Maine and covered with fresh lobster, fresh salmon, smoked salmon, and lobster-infused oil. Given that Frankie's very traditional eggs... More
