Tried for Breakfast..better than a chain breakfast

We went here for breakfast while in Port A...got that last table..it is so small they made those who came later wait outside as no room inside, in Fack the person at table by the door had to get up whenever anyone came into or out of the front door..that aside, the breakfast was very good ,,my wife... read more

This is a small restaurant with little seating. But, if you can get in there, you won't regret it. I've only eaten breakfast so far and boy was I impressed. The waitstaff were very friendly and professional. The food was amazing. I will definitely be eating here again. They are only opened Friday-Saturday breakfast and lunch which is the only... More

The food was good but it was definitely pricy. They place is very small. 6 tables total! It's not someplace we will go back to...I guess if you are only open 3 days a week for 8 hours each, the prices have to be higher to make a profit.

The place is only open a few days a week. I think it is open Thursday - Sunday mornings to mid afternoon. Very small seating area. You sign the waiting list which is a small black board by front door. Serves breakfast and lunch\dinner. I had the fried shrimp plate with Cole slaw, French fries and large butterflied shrimp that... If you're in a hurry you may want to go elsewhere. There was about 3 groups ahead of us and it was about a 20 minute rate. The staff were very nice and the food was as well.

We had been meaning to try Frankie's before left Port A and I am so glad we did. We both had short stack of pancakes with meat. The pancake were homemade and delicious. My only comment is I love real butter on my pancakes. They had melted that is used in the kitchen but margarine on the table. My only... More

Drove into Port A to have breakfast this morning and decided to see if Frankie's was open. (They are only open 3 days a week.). We were in luck. They were not only open, there was not even a wait. However, it did quickly fill up. The sweet girl that was out server was outstanding and very helpful with making... More

Listened to a few locals on where to eat but nobody mentioned Frankie's Kitchen. Tried one place our first night in town and it wasn't very good, then we found Frankie's, by accident. Best move of the weekend because Frankie's was unbelievable!!!! I had the chicken and dumplings and my gf had fried fish and shrimp. The shrimp was the... More

Driving up to this restaurant, it's quite small and a bit of a "hole in the wall". Don't be fooled, what it lacks in space, it makes up for in charm! Frankie is actually in the kitchen making your food! The food was really good. Went earlier today with my niece and we enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly... More

Frankie's looks like a bit of a hole from the road, but the food was outstanding. Best pancakes and home fries we've ever had!
