Large and delicious fried shrimp - crab stuffed jalapeño - fried asparagus with a unique sauce - and putt putt golf for the kiddos! Quite a hit with our group of moms and kids. I recommend it!

Fun for the kids with the mini golf out front. Decent food, quick and friendly service. Seafood, chicken, lots of variety on the menu for this small-ish place.

The quality of the food was average, but this is primarily a bar. This isn't a great place to take a family and isn't even really receptive to that clientele. Here's a few examples: Weird pricing- A child's fish basket contains two small pieces of fish and a basket of fries. It's $3.00. That's reasonable. A regular fish basket contains... More

This place was cruddy in my opinion. The food was nothing to rave about either. would not return. Tables were sticky and bathroom was ugh.

We finished surfing at dark, then cleaned up and headed to Kody's for a late dinner. It was after 10:00 pm on a Thursday and we got a decent, well-priced bottle of Malbec, a perfectly cooked rare Tuna steak with just-right grilled zucchini. We also had the wonderfully delicious and not over-cooked fried asparagus with a spicy sauce (remoulade?). The... More

It is now 6:45pm on Wednesday, May 29, 2013. We have just finished our dining experience at Kody’s in Port Aransas, Texas. Our three shrimp tacos were acceptable, hot and thin for the price. Our fries were plentiful, hot and expensive. Our fried asparagus was delicious. Our surroundings were very typical beer joint chic. What was most noticeable when we... More

Be prepared for smoking. We didn't know at first and it ruined our lunch. We stayed because we were starving (Google initially showed us the wrong location.) The shrimp was okay.

The Best Mussels you will EVER eat. Absolutely phenomenal. The Garlic Fish is something pretty fantastic as well. Heck, nothing here doesn't shine.

We had burgers and fries, average burgers but great fresh cut french fries. Outside upper deck is pet friendly and Maggie enjoyed it immensely. Watch out for the crab stuffed jalapenos they are throat burning hot. Already know what we are going to have next time, spied the tuna tacos on the way out they looked delish.

Kody's is always a great place to take your kingfish or redfish for cooking and eating. The fish is always better when you caught it yourself! They have 3 prep choices--fried, blackened and sauteed. We don't care for the fried, but the blackened is great and the sauteed (butter and garlic) is absolutely amazing. Served with nice mixed vegetables and... More
