very smoky

I have to start by saying we only walked in about 5 feet and turned around and walked out. We heard they have the best burgers on the island so we went to try one. It was SO smoky when we walked in we couldn't even see through it, so we left. Maybe during the day it isn't as bad... read more

We visited on a Saturday, 1/3/15, and had a great time! We had the Jack Daniels Burger and wings and watched a band with a fiddle player! It was so much fun and the burger was better than burgers I've had at fancy, foodie type places up north. It was smoky so beware.

We came with my friends to this place after reading some reviews giving this place 4 out of 5 stars. After a visit I'm wondering either people that gave them 5 stars were paid to do so or they were completely hammered. On entrance you feel like in low profile bar with heavy atmosphere, smoke and questionable sanity of a... More

This Port Aransas restaurant and bar is friendly. The pub food was good the night we stopped by late. This time, we tried the Jack wings and some more traditional medium and some hand-cut fried mushrooms. They both hit the spot and the blue cheese dressing that was served with the wings was excellent. We have tried the burgers on... More

We have stopped in this place 5 times and each time the hamburgers were great. It is an establishment with a "bar" type scene and feel but the burgers are very worth going into the place. Yes, a little smoky, yes a little loud and yes, sports on the television sets but will continue to visit for the food.

I admit I did not actually eat here. It was recommended for burgers by the guy in the liquor store. We were craving a good burger so we walked in the door to this dark bar/restaurant and were assaulted by the smell of cigarette smoke...the kind that is a permanent part of the place. If we'd stayed we wouldn't have... More

Beware of potty mouths. But after all it is a bar. Burgers are great and the beer is cold! Avoid taking children.

It's a typical island bar that has very good burgers. We usually split one between the two of us. Make sure to order it medium though, because if you don't they kill it.

Forget all the other burger places, this is where you will find the locals enjoying the best burgers and cold beers in a local sports bar setting. Peanut shells on the floor, pool table and lots of football. The winter Texans love this place as well. A good place to cheer on your favorite out of town team!
