Very good food but you will pay for it!

This place was very nice. The staff was excellent even with accommodating our very large group on 15 for dinner on a Saturday Night. The food was above average in portions, quality, and taste however be expected to pay for what you get. This place isnt cheap. Overall I would return. If you... read more

We ate at Café Phoenix the first night we were in Port A. What a great experience. From the bread at the beginning, crabcake for the appetizer, and our main entrées. My wife ordered the filet and it was $50 but she claimed it was one of the top three steaks she's ever eaten. Even the salad was fresh and... More

This was the most romantic, beautiful, relaxing, and tasteful part of our honeymoon. The crab claw plate was delicious. My husband and I wanted to go eat at this same restaurant every time we got hungry because we loved it so much. Their late night bands are incredible. The waiter was kind. The staff made us feel important. And the... More

Cafe Phoenix has moved to a new larger facility, but the quality of food has remained. Menu is diverse and they always have daily specials. Have dined here many times and highly recommend it. It is most advisable to have a reservation.

We went to The Phoenix for a late lunch. Although it was hot, the outdoor deck was shady and comfortable. We started with Piña Coladas and they were especially good. I had The Thunderbird - it was great. We all really enjoyed this place

This place is a huge upgrade from the previous location. Food was excellent, but the wait staff was not happy to be there. It's a little on the pricey side, but is much better than most places. Ordered the seafood platter and was able to get most of it grilled rather than fried. There is no kids menu here, but... More

We went here primarily because a friend had recommended the gluten-free beer on sale. If it hadn't been for that we would not have stayed. There was a mismatch on quality versus price. I had the steak which was fantastic and cooked to perfection, it was let down by adding the mushrooms, going with the excellent sauce and leaving out... More

We have heard over the years that The Phoenix was a great place to dine with a good Chef in the kitchen, however on our first visit were disappointed. I had he Crab cake entre (which was very good) except vegetables were terrible. They tried to cook down bagged baby carrots that never soften up....yuck! My husband ordered the "special"... More

Cafe Phoenix has been a favorite of ours for many years but we had dinner there recently and were very disappointed. Some items were overcooked while other things were undercooked. If there was any crab in the crab cake it was skillfully disguised. Cafe Phoenix is fairly expensive at dinner but is usually worth it. I hope that they were... More

When we went into the Blue Room of the Phoenix Restaurant/Bar, we were surprised by the level of sophistication, yet casual atmosphere; this bar could have just as easily been in Houston or Manhattan. We ordered a steak and shrimp and both were superb; I am extremely demanding with my steak, so this really surprised me. I can not say... More
