Smooth jazz, great martinis, delicious appetizers, and wonderful fried oysters. Tuna tower is great too!!! Sit in the interior bar and have arene take care of you. We are so happy to be here.. You will be too! Enjoy!

We went for lunch, I noticed in other reviews that the servers brought bread to the table...They did not with us, but maybe because it was lunch time instead of dinner. I had the fish, shrimp, and oysters...the shrimp I thought would be better since it was a gulf town, it was definitely store bought frozen shrimp, don't do the whole... More

We have been dying to try The Phoenix (formerly Cafe Phoenix) all month when we finally, decided to go last night. We made reservations for 7:30 and were there on time and were promptly seated. Five minutes passed without being greeted by our server, ten minutes, tick tock, tick tock, ticked off until 16 minutes into the wait, the server... More

The wait staff was great and very friendly. However, I woke up with food poisoning this morning and it was most unpleasant! The fresh bread was great, though, but I am convinced that the lump crab was somehow tainted because I very rarely get food poisoning and I travel quite a bit. That was most unfortunate since I had to... More

Fairly expensive, but delicious food. The wait staff is great, very friendly and alert to diner's needs. Homemade salad dressings were wonderful, as well as the bread and butter provided prior to the meal. Butternut squash risotto was excellent!

The wife and I ended up splitting a ribeye steak which cost $40 for the one steak. It was nothing to write home about for sure. Will not return, and shoulda left when we first got there because the hostess/waitress profiled me as we walked in since I was wearing my overalls, and asked if maybe we might want to... More

Love the food at this new location and appreicate all the improvements to the building. Have dined at lunch & dinner and both meals were wonderful. If you are complaining about the prices at dinner, then go for lunch. Considering the entire dining experience...atmosphere, room between tables, friendly waiters & great service... then this restaurant is worth the price. One... More

Really, they have come a long way baby. From the origin of average fare, they now have great food, good service, and a much better location. Their beer selection is fantastic, along with hard liquor and the usual wine list. I know others disagree, I say the best in Port A.

There have been cases where an established restaurant moved and expanded and improved but we liked the old version better than the new so because we liked the old Phoenix so much we were a little leery of the new and expanded Phoenix. Boy, were we ever pleasantly surprised. The food is the same superior quality but the new site... More
