We thought we would try the new place in town, but we're told the dining room was closed for a special catering. We were offered outside seating, but the temp was 95 degrees and we had just spent the day at the beach. Sorry we couldn't try the food, we were told it was good. Will try again next month... More

Apparently this restaurant has changed names and locations and is now called, THE PHOENIX and is located at 337 N. Alister St. We were a large party and arrived late on a weekend night. The hostess was honest in saying that she thought that the wait would be an 1 1/2. It was. We were told that there were only... More

So happy the Phoenix is open (again) and the new location is amazingly great, even when it's really hot outside its nice to sit outside under all those beautiful trees....with a great cocktail of course! The food is just as good as the old cafe Phoenix with your favorites still on the new menu and they have added new items... More

At the beach for an extended family vacation and got to leave the kids with the grandparents while I and the hubby went out to dinner. The restaurant has moved and it's on Allister by the Brewery. We arrived with a forty minute wait so we went to the upstairs bar and had great drinks and service while we waited... More

Try this restaurant, if you want upscale dining and don't mine paying! Asked for inside seating. Has different menu than outside. Pricey but worth it. Limited menu. But what was on the menu was spectacular! Service was excellent! Our entree came out a little too fast for us to finish our appetizers. Portions for entree's were small, but perfect if... More

We sat at the bar and of course there was a waiting time for a table because the food is amazing. I don't eat raw tuna but when they brought out my husbands tuna stack, I knew he was in "heaven" and I loved my Covina w/ beure blanc(grilled fish w/sauce). And Tom , he bartender, did an amazing job... More

All seven of us want to go back. The food was fantastic. The chef was creative and talented. The crab cakes were outstanding. The tuna tower made my father a real food snob take note, he was impressed. We were all very happy

I never went to the old location, but this one was great! The food was delicious, the drinks were good, and the atmosphere was fun. They managed to seat 13 of us with a minimal wait (split into 2 groups), and were very accomodating.

This is a must do for us when we go to Port A. It's new location makes for more room. We sat outside and enjoyed some live music. The food was just as good as always. I had the Tuna Stack, which was to die for!

This place is only opened for lunch, but what a lunch. I go with friends so we can split the sandwiches. The smoked turkey wrap or the Rueben or the grilled chicken are all delicious. Or try one of the specials. The salads are also worth the trip. This is a small place with only about 12 tables so go... More
