Excellent, but limited selection (and a little pricey)

Wonderful food and great service. Was surprised by the (relatively) limited variety on the menu. Wife have the fried fish, daughter the fried shrimp, and I had the red snapper. Appetizers were the quail and also the crab cakes. Everything was exceptional, fresh and very well prepared. They... read more

Great place to eat ....nice location now. Great place for lunch, and then you can go to great shopping steps away. I live here and buy my coastal gifts around here. The menu is small, BUT what you get is to die for ! I don't eat sushi, but apparently all love the great sushi chef, Dave, employed here. Great bars... More

We were a group of 6, hosted by exceptionally generous friends, so this time, price did not factor in for us, although I noted it was on the high end. Our server was attentive, and the food came to the table in a timely manner. I can say that the scallops were the best I've ever had; they melt in... More

Should've left when the hostess rolled her eyes at us and didn't seem to thrilled - the service was bad and it took forever to be acknowledged and the main course was terrible I sent it back ' the blue crab appetizer was good

We ate at Café Phoenix the first night we were in Port A. What a great experience. From the bread at the beginning, crabcake for the appetizer, and our main entrées. My wife ordered the filet and it was $50 but she claimed it was one of the top three steaks she's ever eaten. Even the salad was fresh and... More

This was the most romantic, beautiful, relaxing, and tasteful part of our honeymoon. The crab claw plate was delicious. My husband and I wanted to go eat at this same restaurant every time we got hungry because we loved it so much. Their late night bands are incredible. The waiter was kind. The staff made us feel important. And the... More

This place was very nice. The staff was excellent even with accommodating our very large group on 15 for dinner on a Saturday Night. The food was above average in portions, quality, and taste however be expected to pay for what you get. This place isnt cheap. Overall I would return. If you are looking for a very nice upscale... Cafe Phoenix has moved to a new larger facility, but the quality of food has remained. Menu is diverse and they always have daily specials. Have dined here many times and highly recommend it. It is most advisable to have a reservation.

We went to The Phoenix for a late lunch. Although it was hot, the outdoor deck was shady and comfortable. We started with Piña Coladas and they were especially good. I had The Thunderbird - it was great. We all really enjoyed this place

This place is a huge upgrade from the previous location. Food was excellent, but the wait staff was not happy to be there. It's a little on the pricey side, but is much better than most places. Ordered the seafood platter and was able to get most of it grilled rather than fried. There is no kids menu here, but... More
