Small, intimate but noisy. Kitchen spills into dining area, as does its smoke and cooking odors. Food is spectacular. Maybe the best in Port Aransas. Pricey. Parking is awful.

Had a wonderful lunch with 3 friends at Cafe Phoenix yesterday. Food was superb and service was excellent. What a wonderful little jewel in Port A!
Great food, but if you order an appetizer, get it at the same time as your meal. Long wait! Food was fabulous. Tempura veggies were wonderful! We love this place. We were given a complimentary dessert ( luscious coconut cream pie) because of our wait.
We have tried 3x to get to this place. It's not open on S/M and we tried to walk in at 1:28pm on a Tuesday and our "greeter" said she had to ask the cooks if we could be let in. Huh?! The sign says they are open until 2pm. We determined they are no longer worth it. We ate...

Stopped here for lunch on a Saturday. Delicious sandwiches and amazing iced tea. They also offered an Asian slaw on the side that was crisp and fresh tasting. Perfect!
Something to note: it's a small place with not too many tables. I'm sure some days there's a wait. There was one waitress handling all the tables. So our server didn't...

We did go to eat at another restaurant due to us having a group of 6 and coming for lunch. We didn't want to wait in a line to long as one review suggested. What we did after we ate is stop by for that Coconut Cream Pie. We split the Coconut Cream Pie and Carrot Cake. The coconut was...

Stopped for dessert: my Airbnb host strongly recommended it. Had their coconut cream pie; fresh cream topped with toasted coconut, rich cream filling and flaky crust. Yum!
A shining star in the great blackness of Port Aransas dining! It doesn't mean much to say it's the best food in Port Aransas....but this place could hold its own in any major city in Texas. Very small, reservations required. One waitress and one chef. BYOB. Wonderfully prepared food with great choices for a small menu. Enjoy!
Very small, reservations a must for dinner. Dinner only on Friday and Saturday nights. Menu was small, lots of great seafood dishes. Desserts to die for, Creme Brûlée, Coconut Cream Pie, Carrot Cake! BYOB, wine, beer whatever. Very enjoyable dinner!
Food was delicious! Accomodated for our kids great since they don't have a kids menu. Crab cake was amazing. Yummy!
