Always a pleasure

I've been eating at Zanders since the first week they opened a few years ago and have always enjoyed the meal and the service, unhurried, relaxed but well worth the wait. All the friends, work colleagues and visitors we've brought to Zanders have asked to come back. In fact a cousin from Boston... read more

I drove out there to give it a try. After all, I had just purchased a coupon from them a few days back. I was turned away. They said they only served private parties now. I asked about the purchased coupon... They are not honoring them anymore.

Spartan presentation of food, slightly unusual dance floor environment and beer menu without beer offerings gives way to quality dishes at slightly high end prices.

We had read the good reviews and friends had said how good it was. The first clue should have been that there were only 2 other tables occupied at a usually busy dining time. Service was very slow, food was fairly tasteless. All in all, it was a very unsatisfactory dinner. We will not go back.

We had not been back since they changed to a BYOB status so needless to say, no wine or beer for purchase. We had 3 items that we shared. The papaya and beef large salad, the shrimp curry, and the beef crepes appetizer. All dishes were very fresh, delicious and well composed. We really enjoyed being here. Servers are very... More

This restaurant consistently serve great food. Mostly a variety of Asian food on the menu, not only Vietnamese. The food is not your regular Asian food, but they are contemporary and inventive, yet very flavorful and good. Everything we tried were either great or excellent. The value was very good. The restaurant is family owned. The family member serves in... More

Ive been to Zander's several times and it's always a pleasure. Today I enjoyed hot and sour soup and a vegetarian dish with "beef" tofu. I was amazed at how delicious it was. Lots of fresh veggies and, at my request, spicy. My daughter had a BBQ beef dish and my brother-in-law a calamari dish. Both were very pleased. The... More

This is a hidden gem! I had driven by many times not knowing that hidden inside this odd looking building was going to be some of the best food in the area. As many have said, an unexpected treasure, and I agree. We went for a date, and were the ONLY people there. Within an hour it was packed. All... More

Only took me 18 years of visits to Dallas to discover the best Vietnamese food I have ever eaten. I live in Orange County, CA not far from "Little Siagon" in Garden Grove. This place puts my places to shame. The Basil Beef was hot (spicy) with thin cut beef. The ginger chicken was excellent and we even ordered an... More

Great food, very unexpected goldmine. I think this place used to be alot busier, as the place only uses half their restaurant space, & has awkward unused dance floor in middle of dining room. Tables are large, too large, but when you get your lates of various dishes to share, it all melts away! Didnt get a dish we didn't... More
