We were visiting with daughter inlaw who was in Plano for business and went to eat at Jorgs cafe. The food was great, service was excellent and cost right in line with what you would expect of excellent Getman food.

We ordered the Liptauer cheese with pretzel bread and the Goulash soup, both were delicious. as our desert we selected the Tiramisu. I am not sure how original the recipe was, but we liked it. the server was friendly and attentive. We will return the next time we are in the area.

This was recommended by friends when I told them of a business trip. The neighborhood was a great break from the monotonous suburban sprawl. Unfortunately, Jorg's was a let-down. I was greeted with huge banners with remarkably bad German. The food was okay, but not up to par with my expectations for an Austrian restaurant. Beers were short-filled. Service was... More

This bistro exudes ambience and continental class. You'd think you were sitting at a table in some joint in Salsburg or Hamburg and not in suburban Plano, Texas. The Austrian/German menu is traditional and simple, but consistent in quality and carefully prepared. The beer offerings are excellent.

I have been waiting to come here for over a year! We came last year when we were visiting my husband's daughter and we are back this year it was so good! I grew up around German food and this place always delivers that flavor. Sour and Spicy, delicious! Even if you are stuffed, try the bread pudding with run... More

After living in Austria for a while, I really developed a taste for Austrian and German food. Jorg's in the real deal. Totally authentic and delicious. Schnitzels were fabulous, same with pretzels and sides. This place can get jam packed on weekends, so a good idea to come in early or call ahead. Don't listen to the whiners about the... More

No matter how good the food & service, I hate not getting enough food. I commented to the waitress that the portions were too small. We ate at what should have been a busy lunch time and they weren't very busy. I had the pork Schnitzel with red cabbage & German potato salad.I also ordered a side salad for $3.... More

Jorg's is a great restaurant to enjoy Austrian cuisine. This is one of our favorites. The house specialty is Mutti's Jager Schnitzel. The beer selection is excellent. The staff is helpful and attentive. Jorg's is located in the old downtown area of Plano. It is a great place for dinner.

My husband and I visited on a Saturday evening to celebrate our anniversary. At our waiter's suggestion, we tried the wurst sampler platter. This was an excellent suggestion as you are able to try several of their offerings and determine your favorite. It does take a bit to get your food because of the hand preparation, but definitely worth the... More

We had perhaps overly high expectations. The food was good. A bit pricier than expected. Our experiences with Austrian and German food over there led up to expect something "a bit more" Service was good, But, this is not going to be on our list of places to go again and again
