A recent dinner was a complete disaster. In an effort to accommodate more patrons than they had capacity for, Steve Fields packed us in like sardines. The server could not even make her way to the diners. We had to pace plates back and forth all night. The waitstaff was severely understaffed. My cocktail arrived just about the same time... More

I had been here once before and enjoyed appetizers in the bar, which features live music every night. The piano player who played on the Friday night we were there was engaging and entertaining. I highly recommend 2 of the appetizers, the lobster pizza and crab cakes. Both were delicious and are half price in the bar. The dip we... More

Dined Saturday with friends for Restaurant Week. Really enjoyed the place, nice buzz, bar was hopping as we stopped in a bit early for happy hour which has its own really extensive offerings. The menu for restaurant week was pretty extensive and had plenty of options for our group. I enjoyed the wedge salad, filet and they were really good.... More

This is the favorite place for my girlfriends to meet for happy hour. The appetizers are 1/2 price in the bar area and I periodically get cravings for the lobster pizza. ..or the hamburger...or the lobster sliders. The music starts at 6:30 and is fun to sing along to. We love lobster Mondays where you can get a lobster very... More

This year for restaurant week we decided to attend Steve Field's specially because of their menu, nice selections in the main entree. From the very beginning we were treated nicely. We got 1 waitress for a table of 15, believe it or not, amazing work by our waitress. They serve a very delicious bread, which had rosemary on top served... More

Steve Field's steakhouse is a typical steakhouse, with very good steak and only ok appetizers and sides. The three of us had different types of steak, and all three were very good but a bit the pricy side (betwen $44 and $49). But we were all disappointed with the appetizers which were average; we had the Ceasar salad and the... More

Great, great atmosphere, service, drinks, live piano and food. This is definitely a place for 45's+. The servings are quite large... so you need to be a good eater. Caesar salad is for 3 people... DELICIOUS!!

I went with friends while in Dallas for the Final Four and, other than that the owner is a Kentucky fan, can't say anything bad about it. We unexpectedly added two people to our party from what we had reserved and the restaurant graciously accommodated us. My porterhouse was nicely salted and peppered and very generous. The wine selection was... More
