Would definitely return

We were a large group, but the staff was very attentive. Restaurant layout really enabled us to enjoy our conversations without disturbing the other patrons. Food was very good. What a great restaurant. Upscale & comfortable ambience with terrific food & service. We started with the Prosciutto di San Daniele (aged San Daniele prosciutto, roasted pears & mozzarella on grilled Italian bread), my girlfriend had the herb crusted Australian lamb rack and I had the Cioppino alla Livornese. Don't see what you want on the menu? Ask Chef Jeff... More

Reservation for a group of 10 (5 couples). Table was ready and waiting for us. Couples arrived over a 20 minute period and there was no rush to order ... we were seated as we arrived (I liked that). Sound level was good and allowed for easy conversation. Service was friendly and attentive, but not overdone. Food was very good,... More

We dined for lunch and thought it was excellent. The prosciutto appetizer with pears and mozzarella was fresh and delicious. The Bolognese was one of the best my husband every had. The Fusilli with shrimp was equally good. I thought the Lasagnetta was super fresh and creamy. Portions were generous and everything was so fresh.

Dined on New Years Eve 2015. There was a special New Years menu or you could order off the regular menu which was what we chose to do. Some items are a bit hit and miss. The focaccia bread that is served with a dipping oil is delicious, but should be heated. But the star of this restaurant is the... More

Nicoloas is my favorite Italian place in Dallas and has been for years. The establishment is tucked in the heavily trafficked Shops at Legacy and offers one of the best places to people watch from the outdoor dining area and the bar scene is Fabulous. This place has a second level quitter area nestled above the main floor serving for... More

Nicola's was a very good choice for dinner with a friend. Food was excellent. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Noise levels were fine for conversation. Atmosphere was great. Location was good and parking free in the evening.

My wife and I stopped in before a game for a quick bite at the attractive bar and were not disappointed. Sharp service....excellent Italian salad split, as well as excellent veal marsala. Fine wine list and a very pretty atmosphere.

Friends took me here to "celebrate" my "quick trip" to Dallas (I arrived at 7:00 p.m. and departed the following morning at 11:00 a.m.). The restaurant was relatively empty (we ate on a Sunday); they told me the place was packed the night before when they made the reservation. We started with the Calamari Fritti which was lightly battered and... More

We really like this restaurant and we are waiting for it to make the leap from good to great. Last night we dined there. We had two appetizers 1) prosciutto with basil, mozzarella - and something else - it was Fantastic. Large portion, great taste. 2) crabmeat with avocado - and cold mashed potatoes ? Well - it was ok.... More
