Good food, friendly service

My daughter and I had a delicious lunch here today. My daughter had the daily special with chicken noodle soup that was really yummy. The Kielbasa and sauerkraut sale was also very tasty. I had pierogies that were very good as well. We both had dessert.

I had a dish called Bigos (I think) today and could only eat about 1/2 of the entree. I really didn't like it. It was sauerkraut cooked with small bits of meat. There were 2 scoops of mashed potatoes as well. This dish cost $10.95. I also ordered a side of rye bread & real butter for $1.50. I had... More

We had never tried Polish food before and really did not know what to expect but we decided to be adventuresome. Our hostess / server met us at the door speaking English with a heavy Polish accent while a big screen TV broadcast in Polish. We had the sausage sample for appetizers, delicious. I had the goulash for dinner and... More

When you are the only non-Polish speaking diner in the restaurant, you know that you've found real Polish food. Everything was expertly prepared and delicious. The over worked waitress was always pleasant and made us feel welcomed. The half portions are plenty unless you are big eater. Brought back memories of my Polish grandmother's cooking. Be sure to visit their... More

It was our first time visiting and I have to admit, I was hesitant. I'm not usually adventurous when it comes to food from this part of the globe (no offense, just not a personal preference). I was delightfully surprised when we first walked in and were browsing the store they have as soon as you walk in to the... More

A casual dining sort of place. Probably a family-run restaurant. Food is terrific and very big portions. First truly Polish place that we have found in Dallas. Highly recommended.

We visited For You a few weeks ago after reading others reviews. I have to say, I was impressed with the place. The food was exceptional and the server a delight. I happen to love Borscht and this place really does it right. The goulash was divine, in fact I could have gone back the next day for seconds. I... More

Was glad to run into this restaurant and was able to enjoy a hot bowl of tripe soup available only on weekends... very nicely done. Also enjoyed smoked fish and deli meats from the back part of the restaurant to take home, On my way out picked up authentic Polish sweets and a jar of sauerkraut, mayonaise and rasberry jam.... We have been eating at this restaurant for years when we come in from Houston to visit family. It is family owned and operated and is European-style so expect a leisurely meal. The restaurant is BYOB with no corkage fee which makes it a great value! The soups are totally unique and delicious; set aside your previous experiences with borscht... More

We eat here nearly weekly, sometime for the lunchtime specials (soup, meal, small dessert) and love it. Whereas the regular soups are excellent, special additions (barley soup, sauerkraut soup, cucumber soup, etc.) are always great - we order them when available. The goulash, Taste of Poland (4-5 items, including sausage) and pierogi - yum. Plus you can pick up some... More
