Incredible Food and Atmosphere.

Great restaurant for all occasions. We had just been on the road for 14 hours when we pulled into Plano for the night and decided to give L&W a shot. We started off will the Wagonwheels (fried pickles), delicious. Best fried pickles I have ever had. The wife had a burger. Not only was it... read more

Texas cuisine with really good Mex too. Meats galore with a great bone in ribeye with great sides including corn-on-the-cob. Ribs, quail, boar, burgers, quasidillas, nachos, burritos and the best quaso around. Match that with a choice of Texas beers and great margaritas and its Texas food at its best in a honky tonk setting. Love and War in Texas... More

Great place to put your feedbag on. Quite a variety to choose from on the menu. From wild game to hamburgers, something for everyones taste buds. I chose The Hunt, duck wrapped in bacon kabob, grilled quail, venison sausage with mashed taters and corn on the cob. It could not have been better. My daughter had Ribs, they were on... More

I really liked the choices and its great for a large party because there are a lot of choices. The food was very good and so was the service. I would definitely return to this place. I also like how it is easily accessible to the highway since I was there for business and it was easy to get to.

We went to love and war for lunch on my Harley this summer because I read reviews it was "bike friendly". However, when we arrived there was no designated motorcycle parking, etc.. We were told we could park the bike up on the sidewalk. Yea, I'll get right on that! We parked in the regular parking lot and entered this... More

We really enjoyed this locale, recommended by our hotel. Food portions were huge, prices reasonable, service good and food tasty as well. Aside from the nachos and ribs, also tried the fish tacos which were very tasty.

This is the best place to go for a real taste of TEXAS! food is fantastic and the atmosphere is worth the trip alone! Real Texas artifacts - check them out in the lobby- and real Texas food on the plates! Try the cornbread with honey butter and the fried pickles are the best! All the ingredients are Texas sourced... this place is casual, features live music and charges cover on the weekends. they have dinners featuring unusual game meats which is not my favorite. i like basic beef, chicken and pork. i consider this place pricy for what you get.

The food served and the service was very good but I did not see anything special on the menu. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak. It came out looking texas size but the meat inside the coating was disapointing. The draw here is probably the bar and the band which makes the dinner experience loud. The prices were reasonable. Excellent service, excellent beer and the steak was the best steak I have ever eaten. The service was also very quick and I liked the ambiance of the restaurant.
