Went to visit a friend in Texas, and he took my husband and me to this restaurant. The food was delicious, the beer was cold, and the service was friendly. It was a great stop on our Texas trip. I only wish we could have stayed longer to go at night and catch some live music.

This place is a great place to go for great food, atmosphere and to catch some great Live Texas Music. The menu includes many items you won't find on many others but you'll be pleasantly surprised at how great the venison, quail, wild boar and duck k-bobs can be!

We ate as a large group for dinner. The service was excellent. The bar was hit or miss on the drinks. The food was the biggest disappointment. For the price, it just wasn't very good. Not one person at our table really enjoyed their food. The outdoor bar area looks like a fun place to hang out on a weekend.

This restaurant with a fun (crazy) menu and a great Texas atmosphere has totally dropped the ball. Service is still great and fast, but food and drinks have apparently been subjected to major cost cutting. Our Prime Rib was dried-out, had no marbling and the 'au jus' was simply a thick brown gravy. Just as bad it was served at... More

After being relocated for business i finally made it back home to Texas and to one of my favorite restaurants in the Dallas area. I walked and the place still looked and smelled the same as my memory recalled. I dreamed daily of l&w's all you can eat sunday beef ribs so i was on a mission to get some... More

The restaurant features food from the 5 regions of Texas and overall does a very good job. Skip the fried shrimp but the rest is great. They have live bands at various times. We even did new years eve there one year and it was great. The food will keep you coming back. The decor is real Texan. We took... More

We like the fact you can choose food from different regions of Texas. However, by far my favorite is Sunday's All You Can Eat BIG (HUGE) Beef ribs!!! Their spice is a tad spicy more than I like, after the bbq sauce it balances out. Service is a hit or miss...sometimes it's great while other times (later in the night)... More

This place is a lot like The Texas Roadhouse minus the peanuts. My daughter & I ate here a few days ago right at 5 PM and it was good but a little out of my budget. I think they are a bit of a honky tonk with the booze & music. You must try the garlic mashed potatoes w/gravy... More
