SO Impressed!

We had Roy's for the first time last night, and we were so impressed! We let the chef choose for us and basically went tapas style, sharing everything. Literally every single thing was amazing. My wife and I went here on Valentines weekend after she visited a location in California on a work trip. She spoke highly of it, so we tried the local location. We arrived early and waited in the bar until our table was ready. The bar was ridiculously understaffed. Every seat at the bar was occupied when we got there,... More

We had a good experience, however, the restaurant was extremely busy and there was no room in the bar. We opted for a table and attempted to order happy hour bar specials. We were informed by our server bar specials are only valid in the bar. Therefore we had to order all items at full price. For this reason we... More

This is the second Roy's I've experienced and they do a really nice job. We started with drinks in the bar and the tempura crusted ahi roll, which was very good. Incidentally the Roy's red wine is a very good, reasonably priced cab. We moved to the dining room which is very warm and inviting. We shared the greens salad... More

Few couples went for my wife's birthday. Bone in ribeye was missing bone, very thin and over cooked. 2 out of 2 steaks over cooked. Medium rare was medium well. Wife had fish and was then sick all night. We were charged for the complementary birthday dessert. Desserts and sushi was very good. Several other places I'd rather spend $150... More

Having a ladies night out..... and got cut off after 7 drinks.... This may sound like a lot -but we had been there for 3 1/2 hours, and had already spent $300 on appetizers (quite tasty) and drinks.... Not worth it to be cut off after we were not obnoxious, rude or loud, no vomiting or upsetting other customers.... I... More

I dined here with my sister and brother in law recently. My sister dines here frequently because she loves the braised beef short ribs with Yukon mash and broccolini. Coming from Australia, the meals in the US are always too big. So my sister and I always share a meal and a salad. We told the waiter that we wanted... More

We had dinner with another couple. The entrees were all extremely good.. scallops, mahi mahi, ribeye. Yes, one had beef in a fish restaurant. He said it was the best he'd ever had. I love scallops and am very particular about them. They were among the best I ever had. Service was very good. Pineapple upside-down cake and chocolate thing... More

The food at this Hawaiian/Pan-Asian restaurant is excellent. There are many great, intimate booths for dining, as well as tables in the center of the restaurant, so ask for a booth if you like them! Service was outstanding, and food was delicious. We tried the appetizer sampler, as well as the entree sampler. The ButterFish was so delicious, and neither... More
