Fun German Experience!

We made a reservation for a group to celebrate my husband's birthday. He really enjoyed trying the different beers. The dishes were good, but most were too salty.

An authentic Bavarian restaurant with great German food and beer. Plan to wait for a table because it is always packed. Wurste plate was excellent!

Bavarian Grill is a popular eatery specializing in German fare. Not being overly familiar with this European cuisine, I found myself a bit overwhelmed looking at the menu. The items are listed in their native tongue with descriptions in English. This made ordering tricky, thus I decided to just point at what I wanted while saying "This, please!" We started... More

This resturant his a home run with service and authenticity. The decor is spot on. Their beer list is long and imported. My only little issue was a personal one. The spatzel was not cooked how I normally have it or how I make it. It was a little chewy. It was still good though. The schnitzel was also good... More

My lovely wife Heidi (yes, full-blood German) took me to Bavarian Grill and I loved it! I have been a huge fan of German food since I can remember, however this restaurant has taken my love of German food to a new level! Your Munich treaty list of beers is AMAZING as is your food. We are going to make... More

This place definitely made me want to get in touch with my German inside. I couldn't pronounce most of the food nor beer. Both were amazing, however! Vergel took care of me at the bar. He was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Wish I could visit more often and complete the Stein Club.

I know the accordionists who used to play polkas here on weekends. I don't know if they still do that. I loved the atmosphere. Be sure you really want sausage, sauerkraut, and other authentic German fare when you come here, because it's like the little German towns in the Hill Country!

We have eaten great German food at the Bavarian Grill for many years. They have the best selection of German dishes we have found anywhere even when we ate in Munich!. I especially love their schnitzel! Their beer selection is large and it is fun to fill out their Stein Club card. My husband belongs to the Stein Club after... More

What a great find ...in a nice local neighborhood atmosphere! The restaurant made me feel like I was in an establishment back in Germany! The food was VERY Authentic and the bier was Wunderbar!! We sat in the bier garden area and listened to the band, but in the other end of the restaurant they had an Accordion player, which... More

Their rolls are so good and come in different flavors. Plates are reasonably sized, slightly high on price. They offer a lot of food options, from more hardcore German flavors to more Americanized tastes.
