It may be in a mall parking lot but it is not mass produced. Fresh and different. Very Loud and boisterous . Younger crowd. Food was well, good but I can't remember what I had...except for the whiskey cake.

We found Whiskey Cake In OKC and really enjoyed it. The Plano location didn't live up to the same quality. Even though it's the same design it's much louder. The service was okay. The pork, eggs and grits were mediocre at best. The first time around the pork was cold. The second time around the pork was hot but overcooked,... More

What was once a great chef driven me u has become a weird and odd menu with some good but lots of bad. For example, wonderfully cooked duck on a bed of......heavily peppered barley. Yep, barley. With the seasonal vegetables mixed in. So not only did the barley totally throw off the profile but you couldn't even get to the... More

We went here as a spur of the moment dinner with friends and had a surprisingly good time. The food is creative, fresh, and delicious. The drinks were unique and fun. And the whiskey cake...yes...the whiskey cake was divine. We will definitely be coming back to Whiskey Cake for future meals. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars... More

Great restaurant! Everything is handmade including the drinks. The hummus and deviled eggs are the best.

We went with a party of 6 to FINALLY eat at Whiskey Cake. This has been a restaurant that was on our list for sometime. We were luckly able to make a reservation, this is almost a must as the wait was over an hour @5:45 Saturday evening. Our server was quick to great us and get drinks to our... More

The service was excellent. The weather was great for sitting outdoors since inside was too cold for me. Rarely drink cocktails, but I thoroughly enjoyed the blueberry with egg whites The grilled salmon was delicious and the whiskey cake was shared with 2 others which was very good. I sampled my daughter's plate of Texas Striped Bass and it was... More

First visit. It was busy and noisy but in a fun, active way. Not rowdy or intrusive. Shared the deviled egg appetizer with others (I'm not a deviled egg fan) and thought they were well done. Ordered the pork brisket on grits which was delicious and shared the whiskey cake with 3 others (that's how big it is). Everything was... More

Went for the second time, thinking I had miss something the first time I went there. But definitely, I don't like the food, with the only exception of the Whiskey Cake. And it is expensive for what you get.

Looking for an interesting place for brunch on Saturday? Go straight to the Whiskey Cake Kitchen and Bar in Plano, just off the toll way. Their signature morning drink is a Bloody Mary. The waiter brings your glass with ice and vodka and points you to the bar where you can pick your juice, seasonings, accoutrements and decorations! Superb. Don't... More
