Very good diner in Plano

Good home style food. Daily specials and almost an late 50's early 60's atmosphere. Interesting tables, with advertising from old time magazines and other from the late 50's era. Friendly staff and you always get seated quickly. Very good diner.

The meal had good flavor. But while we were eating the management decided to spray for an overload of crickets. Very unhappy that this could not have waited until people were not eating. Just what makes an appetizing meal. Dead crickets😡

Went with hubby and son. All 3 of us had sandwiches and fries or sweet potato fries. Everything was OK nothing to write home about. I asked for extra crispy fried and they came out soaky. My patty melt was greasy but tasty. Probably should have ordered a special or breakfast. They do make their own pies but didn't try... More

This is your typical diner... Cheap eats, decent service, '50's style ambiance. If you want top notch food, go elsewhere. But this is a great deal - a cheeseburger in a sit-down restaurant for less than $5. Plano is full of really nice places to eat. This is the place you want to go to when you are either low... More

I am a huge fan of breakfast food, always looking for a good place to have a tasty, quality breakfast. I have heard so many good things about this place and it was very busy when we got there so my expectations were high...but they didn't live up to the hype. The food is average, not spectacular. The pancakes were... More

While in the area visiting family we ate breakfast here one morning. The hostess took us to one table, but there was a gentleman sitting at the adjacent table and had his chair pushed back so far we would have been cramped, so she took us to another table. My eggs were cooked to perfection! Another member of our party... More

Old school diner - good for the soul but maybe not so good for the heart! Some of the best comfort food in town! Amazing breakfast - must have the biscuits and gravy! Lunch and dinner menu includes a choice of meats and country sides - don't miss the corn bread!! Service is great and fast! Wonderful atmosphere with old-school... More

Good was terrible! I was sooo embarrassed for recommend this place to our friends, based on the review. I ordered meatloaf and a large piece of ground beef with canned tomatoes on top.. To top it off it was COLD.. The squash casserole was gross and the fried okra frozen.. The waitress served us and then never came back to... More

We ate breakfast here today, and although good, many places can make a good breakfast. But here they are known for their pie. And our pie was good, but nothing special. When your girlfriend says their pie is better, and it is, well it just seems like they've slipped some.

I'm a sucker for a good diner and this place really lived up to the definition of a local place with friendly people who take care of you! The prices were great and the food delicious. Very retro and I will definitely be going back!
