What can I say? This place was excellent. The fried calamari, fried oysters and fried catfish were highlights. The staff was also very friendly. We went at an off time and it was still packed. Great for families and groups.

Place is packed at Sunday lunch, but well worth it. Great catfish, and the grilled Mahi was awesome. Highly recommend. Also clean and very friendly staff.

Fish Shack has become one of our "go to" restaurants when my husband and I want a casual, guaranteed good meal. The combo fried catfish and shrimp basket is delicious and served piping hot! It beats any fried fish I've had anywhere, including Louisiana, Mississippi, or coastline cities in Texas. Wonderful hot boiled shrimp which is spicy and great shrimp... More

Friends and I decided to grab a bite at "The Fish Shack". When we first walked in it seemed there was quite a long line. We ordered some shrimp and frog legs so we could all share. All of us thought that the food was very good. The service was excellent. The line moved fast. Everyone enjoyed the fried shrimp, which... More

We really enjoy eating at this little restaurant. They serve awesome tasty sea food at a decent price. Anytime we're in the area, we have to make time to stop to have a bite. Really recommend this place, just keep in mind they are always busy!!! They do serve their food fresh and hot!!!

The best place by far to get good seafood is the Fish Shack. Went at noon time and that is not a good time to go if you have a limited amount of time as the line was out the front door. Go early before the lunch crowd or eat later after they have left. They had a lunch menu... More

It was a packed night and the line was quite long. DH ordered our food at the counter and I tried to find an empty space for us. Not long after we sit, our server brought our food. We shared a plate of codfish with fries, gumbo bowl, and shrimp cocktail. Every bite tasted so unique and flavorful. The price... More

After debating with a friend where the best shrimp and crab boil spot was around DFW, he told me I needed to try Fish Shack. This place was obviously an old Long John Silver's! Gauging from the line wrapped almost out the door, I figured it must be good and worth the wait. Draft beers for $2 were a bonus...food... More

Once you walk in, you forget your in a big city but in a local shack off the coast! Small, gets very crowded and I know why... the food is so fresh, tasty and down right delicious!!! We travel from Lewisville to Plano to just eat the seafood! Crab cakes aren't that great, but the catfish is wonderful!
