Just like all the other sushi buffets in town

I ate at here last Wednesday night around 7:30pm with my husband and a couple of friends. I was amazed by the look of the restaurant from the parking lot. It carries a Japanese feel. But the food itself is a disappointed. First, not too many Japanese food choices are available when you consider this as buffet. Second, the food is very salty, away from the Japanese food known for natural flavors. Third, the food presentation isn't... More

Aside from Vegas, this might just be the best buffet I've ever had. The service was excellent and the food was awesome. Fresh seafood on a buffet in North Texas? That is indeed a rarity! the sushi and sashimi were excellent and everything else from tempura to Korean short ribs, kimchee and cold roasted veggies were delicious. The only thing... More

I had heard that this place rivals Tokyo One, so I had to check it out. Buffet food without the buffet staleness! Everything was fresh and delicious! There was a fantastic selection, and every bite was a delight to my taste buds. I have to say, my stomach was full long before I was ready to stop eating.

My self and my wife and my 2 year old baby showed up for lunch at this restaurant. Basically: very cheep oriental food with no relation to Japan! Only full plate were for the Sushi. Hot dishes were virtually empty. Most items were cold and old. Food in general is old and no way to ask for orders or question... More

My husband and I have driven past Japan House countless times and finally decided to go in. Sorry we did. The food was good but was VERY overpriced. We had the buffett and drank water... our bill was $70 before the tip. We could have eaten elsewhere and had cocktails for that price. I don't intend to go back.

If you love sushi, this place has every kind on a buffet! They also have all kinds of soups, noodles, tempura, and a salad bar. Oh, and dessert too! I have been many times and it is always fresh plenty to choose from.

Japan House gets a 2 out of 5 and not a 1 out of 5 only because the building has a nice architectural design to it. The main problem with the restaurant is that it smells worse than a trash can filled with fish guts. Most fish places do a good job of covering up the repugnant odor, but Japan... More
