Hands down the best Chinese food in DFW!

We've been going to Yao Fuzi for years and it's simply the best Chinese food you'll find in DFW. It has become a "favorite" for everyone that we have taken there and the food is always delicious. Chris Yao owns the restaurant and he is almost always there making sure things run smoothly. His... read more

Consistently provides very good Chinese dining experience. Chris Yao and his team will make you feel welcome and strive to provide you a great experience. Have watched this establishment grow over the years and deal with the difficulties of that growth. This night the bar/bartender was much slower in delivery than usual. Very crowded for a 6:30 reservation time. Experiment... More

Having eaten here more than five time, the last experience was terrible. I older a fish dish which was expensive but the quality of food was not as good, too much salt. It was ager 10 pm. The place is open till. 11, so I was in no way causing convenience to kitchen or the waitress. I was spending my... More

A dear friend invited me to lunch so our experience was pretty good to the point i chose to return and bring my husband. We were greeted well. Our waitress was rude and not interested much in serving us. She didnt greet us, didnt offer us if we wanted to order any appetizers nor asked us what we wanted to... More

This restaurant is so outstanding that we have made it our exclusive Chinese dining experience in Plano. Originally recommended by a Chinese acquaintance, Yao Fuzi has never disappointed us with the cuisine, and the service is attentive and quick. We stick with more unexotic dishes: Chicken Lettuce Wraps, Sesame Chicken, SIngapore Noodles, Hunan Beef and the like, and invariably they... More

I came on my birthday celebration with my family this year. My toddler was with me too. I understand the stress a toddler could bring to a dining environment. So I thought of nothing when our waitress grabbed the chopstick my son took in his hand and gave it to me. However, constantly the waiter and other waitress in the... More

We have been to this restaurant a number of times during the year, so we put them to the ultimate test and went there for New Year's Eve dinner. Super, super busy, but they still provided prompt service and great food. Not sure how they could do it with such a crowd, but they did. Staffed up I suppose for... More

Best Chinese in Plano. A little more expensive than most other Chinese in area, but worth it. Best value is the Monday through Friday lunch.

Our waitperson recommended Pepper Steak and Yao Fuzi Prawn. Both were delicious. Nice atmosphere and helpful, attentive staff. Pricing is higher than other Chinese restaurants, but quality is superior.

Two couples who eat out a lot won't be back. The food is simply average. Their pricing suggests they think otherwise. Blue Crab and Cheese Wontons-badly undercooked; Tempura Halibut-bland and nearly tasteless; Yao's Five Spice Spare Ribs-no spice, little taste, bland; Panfried Duck with Mandarin Sauce-too fatty with very little meat, bland; Sweet and Sour Chicken-bland, you can do better...
