Fino's has been the BEST.....but now have new owner.....

Up until recently, we have been to Fino's on a regular basis because of the delicious food and the attention to detail they have provided. Spectrum of Italian food, with salads, antipasto, meats, poultry, fish, interesting pasta choices and excellent pizza. We like the mushroom ravioli with a mushroom light cream sauce - amazing - and the pasta is all fresh-made. We don't eat meat/poultry so I can't opine on that. Fish is well prepared and fresh. Pizza is very good, made in wood fired... More

This place was great. Had great Italian food from the Italian owner and chef. The service was iffy but improved a bit. The owner sold out to a person that seemed to not have any people skills or how to keep the customers coming back. Our group of regulars and others that frequented regularly decided to move on but we... More

We had not eaten here in a year and I guess there is new ownership. We arrived at 6pm. Did not get our entrees until 7:30. Three of the four entrees were not edible. Veal parm tasted like cardboard with marinara sauce. Sauce on lobster ravioli tasted like chalk. Chicken parm was burnt. Manager was indignant when I said we... More

Good Italian food, large menu - great service! Local place - obviously a favorite of the neighborhood as everyone seems to know the staff. We went early as we had read it fills up quick. This restaurant is BYOB.

Smaller personal setting place with an indoor and an added on outdoor (enclosed) room. Lots of different dishes, looking around they all looked great. We had spaghetti with meat sauce (really good and well made) and Gamberi La Casa (a little spicy as described and the sauce had some great fish flavor from the shrimp, another winner). Paired these with... More

For all you east coast ex-pats craving "New York Italian" or native Texans looking for great pasta, Fino's fits the bill. BYOB makes a great meal a great deal. The atmosphere is simple yet charming and the fresh pasta with classic sauce simple yet sublime.

I almost hesitated to write a review about this place because you know how it is - a place gets really popular and then it's hard to get in there to eat! But their food is so great, I just couldn't resist singing their praises! In 2012 my husband and I traveled to Rome and Florence and swore that American... More

We recently dined at Finos and were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is small and casual and has a nice selection of classic Italian favorites. Our server, Jesse, was excellent and we were delighted with the quality of the food! I ordered the Bosco Salad for $4.99 and received a beautifully prepared gourmet salad I would have expected to pay double... More

We arrived at a good time, around 6:15 on a Tuesday evening. After that, the room was packed. I guess people love the fact that it's BYOB and it's about 85 degrees inside. We told the pompous looking guy walking around in a white chef's coat that it was hot and he explained to us that he's comfortable and our... More
