Good breakfast

After a school competition with my granddaughter we went here for breakfast. The chorizo and scramble egg with potatoes was very good and plenty of it. They used about 3 eggs. Tortillas were good. The breakfast tacos also good. Pricing is very good. Breakfast tacos were $1.39. The place is... read more

This is the kind of restaurant that we all wish was at the end of our street for those nights when we're too tired to cook and don't want to dress up and don't want to spend a fortune on some trendy menu. I've tried a few of their combination plates and they are fresh and flavorful. Don't be put... More

It's such a disappointment going to a Mexican restaurant to have authentic Mexican food and have cheese dip that I can make at home. My husband also noticed as he was paying, everything was going in the microwave. Our food wasn't very good either. We both ended up eating our 6 year olds French fries...

Once again the best tortilla soup ever! These folks have spent years creating this delectable art form. The big chunks of veggies and chicken are absolutely exquisite. I dare any of the pro food reviewers to stop by El Rincon and try their soup. Each comes with sides of pico de gallo, avocado, cheese, and tortilla strips. Just dump 'em... More

Driving up half the neon sign is burnt out so I knew it would be good, sounds funny but true. The parking lot was packed, another good sign. Upon entering the place was just buzzing with guests and staff. Yes the place looks a little rough but overall it was clean, the restrooms were not fancy but very clean as... More

The place could be cleaner. My biggest peeve is cleanliness. It serves breakfast lunch and dinner so a complete overall cleaning isn't feasible but it really needs one. So went there on Tuesday the 19th. Waitress was exceptional. El Rincon doesn't hire good wait staff. This lady was amazing. Funny to be remarking that there was a decent waitress in... More

A GREAT Mexican restaurant with fantastic authentic flavors! They have done a few renovations over the years but it's a cozy place for fun times with friends and family.

Forget the look of the place with the cement floors and rather forlorn surroundings- the service and food are quite good. Went here with family for Sunday night meal- probably their slow night. Our very pleasant server was really great- all the chips, salsa, etc., we could ask for, and the food was exactly what I expected. Large portions, traditional... More

Very much a case of you have to set expectations. I loved the slightly run down nature of this place, it's honest and the staff were friendly and efficient. Food was good, nice spice and economical. Those that are looking for fine food go elsewhere, but for a lunchtime stop on the way to or from somewhere it's more than... More
