The place could be cleaner. My biggest peeve is cleanliness. It serves breakfast lunch and dinner so a complete overall cleaning isn't feasible but it really needs one. So went there on Tuesday the 19th. Waitress was exceptional. El Rincon doesn't hire good wait staff. This lady was amazing. Funny to be remarking that there was a decent waitress in... More

A GREAT Mexican restaurant with fantastic authentic flavors! They have done a few renovations over the years but it's a cozy place for fun times with friends and family.

Forget the look of the place with the cement floors and rather forlorn surroundings- the service and food are quite good. Went here with family for Sunday night meal- probably their slow night. Our very pleasant server was really great- all the chips, salsa, etc., we could ask for, and the food was exactly what I expected. Large portions, traditional... More

Very much a case of you have to set expectations. I loved the slightly run down nature of this place, it's honest and the staff were friendly and efficient. Food was good, nice spice and economical. Those that are looking for fine food go elsewhere, but for a lunchtime stop on the way to or from somewhere it's more than... More

The owner acts like she's doing you a favor serving their sub-standard food. No hello, thank you or goodbye. I've lived in P-ville 20 years and been there often but will never, ever RETURN! I'M DONE WITH THIS PLACE!!!!!

It was pretty bad. The inside of the restaurant could definitely use a face-life, but it's the food that's most disappointing. Just regular, standard fare, but for my money the food is better at Taco Cabana or even Taco Bell.

This is good "Tex Mex" Mexican food, and I like eating here, since it is a "non-chain". However, the interior really could use some updating.... concrete floors, tables (no booths). There is no waiting area, so the tables by the front door get constant interruptions of new and departing customers. Service is pretty good, usually. Very good breakfast tacos in... More

Always good food, but the place needs a makeover. Things look run down and sometimes not very clean.

We 1st visited here in 2009 and just weren't too impressed with anything, but after the disappointment with Casa Garcia's going up in price and down in quality and service we decided to try El Rincon again, and it was a great decision. Being greeted and seated withing 1 minute of walking in was great, and we had a basket... More
