Great new experience

The meal was fun from start to finish. The service was warm and friendly. At no time was intimidating. I was nervous about an entirely new cuisine but or waiter assured me that everyone will enjoy it. He was right. The food was amazing and so fun to eat. We will be back soon.

The food was fantastic!!! When in doubt, ask the waiter/waitress We had a fantastic experience, learned a little bit of culture. Had a out of this world culinary experience. This is only my second 5 star review in trip advisor in all my trips around the world and I did not even have to leave town. You will love the... More

This was my first time eating Ethiopian food. My husband and I were invited to go with another couple we know, and I didn't entirely know what to expect. I was delighted by our experience!! One of the owners waited on our table and she was so friendly and helpful, moving us to a table On the breezy covered patio... More

Had an amazing business lunch at Taste of Ethiopia. We all had the lunch buffet which was mostly vegetarian. All attendees are avid carnivores though it didn't matter, the food was fantastic. It is so nice to have wonderful authentic ethinic foods comming to the Pfluegerville / Round Rock area. Not only was the food amazing, the staff made us... More

We have used Taste of Ethiopia several times for catering at our fundraising event. Winnie (the owner) is a jewel. Very helpful and always upbeat. And oh yes, the food is great too! Always exciting to give folks a taste of Ethiopian food for the first time.

Never tried before and really wanted to for a long time. Tried the lamb dish. I tend not to enjoy meat so didn't care for it much. Too chewy. But the veggie dishes were outstanding! First timers get a complimentary taste of something else. And also try the traditional coffee. No cream or sugar needed!

This is one of my favorite places to bring friends and family for a special meal. We have been both for the lunch buffet and dinner and both are great. We always have friendly service and the food is amazing. Lots of rich spices. My favorite is the Doro Wot and the Kitfo (rare). Lamb tibs are great too. You... More

As you enter the front door you are immediately met with friendly helpful staff. More good news - you eat with your hands. No utensils. Injero is a flat bread used to scoop up the food. Not like pita it is more akin to a crepe. We started with a green lentil purée called Azifa. It contains garlic, jalepeno, horseradish... More

my family enjoyed a most delicious feast: lamb, lentils wot and chicken wot. Oh my, what a treat. The only thing that could make this better is to have some local craft beers to cool the spices and further blend the flavors. We highly recommend it.
