Let me start with this is a great restaurant and I have been here several times and while I had another excellent meal, there are a couple items that I need to point out. First, let me suggest that you check out the menu, they have an excellent variety of steak including True 100% Japanese Wagyu From The Kagoshima Prefecture.(very... More

Don't let the outside fool you. Amazing atmosphere. The variety of beef offered is over the top. Wet aged, dry aged and Wagyu beef oh my. The current Filet Mignon Flight is a great sample of beef. And the dry aged is so flavorful. We didn’t realize how good until we tried the dry age. Everything is done full out... More

Melt in your mouth steaks, whether you order filet, rib eye, or sirloin. All fantastic! Crab cakes to die for. I have loved everything I have eaten at Killen's and they have a very nice wine selection too. Worth the expense for special occasions.

Went there in early December for a ritual steak dinner with my Grand-Nephew. In summary, all the great things written about this five star steak house are true and then some. Place is pretty intimate with a reasonable crowd noise but very warm feeling. Food was terrific, especially the steaks (multiple selections based on sources) and the local things like... More

Don't be fooled by the rustic exterior. This is one of the best restaurants you'll ever eat at. Fine dining in the burbs. Who knew?

We visited Ronnie Killen's steakhouse based on many recommendations and our love for his amazing BBQ place close by. The steakhouse is interesting because the selection of beef is extensive and includes decisions on dry vs wet aged, and a few distinct breed of cattle, which adds to the fun and interest. They also have a very respectable wine list... More

I know that sounds like too high of praise, but i have been to most of the biggies, and this unassuming lil place puts them to shame. Every great cut of beef from most of the great regions in the world. Their sides are UNBELIEVABLE as is their bread pudding and carrot cake. This, and a visit to Comanders Palace... More

Perfectly prepared, high-end beef is here. I have never seen so many choices in steak--the menu presents high-end steaks from five different sources. Each has a different characteristic, so it pays to spend some time with your waiter getting an explanation of each. I had a Texas grass fed ribeye and my wife had a Nebraska corn-fed filet. Both were... More

While planning what to do in Houston the day before a cruise my husband came across Killens. The outside appearance made me a touch leary, but everything was perfection, from the way the butter was served to the incredible steak. Just loved it and worth every penny!
