Good mexican food at god price,

Nothing real special, just very good Tex-Mex food at very reasonable prices. Most entrees between $7 and $10. Service was good. .Very casual and a little hard to find.. Our one complaint: very noisy. Was Saturday night and very busy. Our next visit will be for lunch or a weeknight.

Homey, family run restaurant. This restaurant is been in business a long time, thanks to its consistently very good food. Excellent cheese enchiladas, with a light brown gravy. Good tacos and your normal mexican cafe offerings. Has a bar with great low priced margaritas and daily drink specials. This is where the locals eat!

I can remember coming to La Casita since I was a child and they were in the older building. The same family is still around and they are always a pleasure to see. Their salsa is my favorite out of any Mexican restaurant. Sweet yet a good kick to finish it off. Surprisingly refreshing in the summer months. Also, the... More

This place is off the beaten path. Everything we had was so delicious and yummy. The salsa was impeccable. Not too hot, just right for everyone. The tamales melted in your mouth. Never had tamales this good. Enchiladas was like no other. Just awesome. Service was excellent. Very nice and helpful.

This place is classic. Super good chips & salsa. Everything on the menu is handmade & so delicious. Been going here 20+ years. I really like the #1, the sour cream chicken enchiladas & the fajitas. Great prices. Some of the best mexican food on planet Earth. I guess it's technically in Pearland but it's a lot closer to Friendswood... More

Its out on a country road hard to find, but lots of people find it. It was very crowded with some big parties, but the servers kept up.. I had a great stuffed pepper with beef, My wife didn't care for her spinach enchiladas. Beer and wine prices were fair. They kept the table stocked with chips and a very... More

Fajitas are OK, and definitely NOT an authentic Mexican place. When I go to an "authentic" Mexican restaurant, I expected good tortillas but instead I got store made. Enchiladas aren't good either. Not worth my trip, I wouldn't be coming back!

My husband's family has been going to La Casita for at least 20 years. It is a great authentic Mexican restaurant that caters to families and is run by a great family. Great food and great service. Enchilladas, fahitas, chalupas, and carne guisada are excellent. They have my husbands favorite chips and queso! Margaritas are cheap and good.

I have come to the conclusion all Mexican restaurants in Houston serve the same food and all taste like fast food, with the exception of the family own ones, and that is the difference with La Casita is not massive produce food, and it has been around for years!. I remember 10 years ago when I found it by mistake... More
