Spicy!!!

I come here with my family and while they have excellent service, I can't eat much of the menu because it's all spicy!! Most puerile would say it's a good thing, and their food is definitely good, I'm just not a fan of spicy.

Maybe should have not ordered the fried catfish. Others at the table had the fried shrimp and oysters which was much better than the catfish. The onion rings are also very good. The catfish was fried correctly and arrived hot but the quality was very poor. Not certain but appeared and tasted like a frozen ready to fry filet. If... More

we went last night. The wait time was an hour. One waiter was taking a break at a 6 seater table while who I think might have been the manager (wearing a black shirt different than the others) was sitting there talking with her while they were so many tables waiting. We were seated at 7 pm. They brought me... More

Always enjoy the food no matter what I get. It is worth the drive and every one we go to it is the same great taste.

Fresh seafood, great atmosphere. I like watching oysters being shucked and cooked at the grill at the end of the bar. Great etoufee and gumbo.

We went on a Friday evening, didn't have to wait too long (20 min) but the service was lacking. It took a while to get drinks. Shrimp gumbo was pretty good, rue was very tasty. I usually get the grilled crab cakes and I guess the cost of crab has gone up because I really feel like I didn't get... More

This is authentic Cajun seafood restaurant. The seafood gumbo is very good as is the grilled seafood items. I don't eat the battered stuff so I can't comment on them. I like the salads with grilled shrimp. Even the small dinner salads are good. Plenty cold beer! What else could you ask for. .

We went to visit family and decided to go to lunch at Floyd's. We were promptly seated. Our server was friendly and attentive. We started with oysters on the half shell. They were from LA, so I wasnt too concerned about the time of year. They were lucious and sweet. My wife ordered the crawfish bisque. I ordered a crab... More

Floyd's has great crawfish while in season. Their Bar Trash is great. The best chicken and sausage gumbo in the city, too. Great bar scene, too!

No need to drive to LA or some other place on the gulf when Floyds is here. Excellent food with huge portions. Try the bucket of beer and any fresh fish ponchatrain. When in season the mud bugs are best here. Floyds also has very good steaks but the Cajun food is always best and plentiful
