We went to visit family and decided to go to lunch at Floyd's. We were promptly seated. Our server was friendly and attentive. We started with oysters on the half shell. They were from LA, so I wasnt too concerned about the time of year. They were lucious and sweet. My wife ordered the crawfish bisque. I ordered a crab... More

Floyd's has great crawfish while in season. Their Bar Trash is great. The best chicken and sausage gumbo in the city, too. Great bar scene, too!

No need to drive to LA or some other place on the gulf when Floyds is here. Excellent food with huge portions. Try the bucket of beer and any fresh fish ponchatrain. When in season the mud bugs are best here. Floyds also has very good steaks but the Cajun food is always best and plentiful

I used to eat at this restaurant at least once every week. It was one of my favorite eating establishments in my area. In the past year the quality of their food has declined so much. In addition to this, their prices have increased and their service is poor. What a disappointment. I have given them the benefit of a... More

Within the last 2 weeks, friends have invited us to two of Floyds functions. 1. On Valentine's Day at the On the Water location, we had to wait 35 minutes for our table with a reservation at 7PM....people that arrived 30 minutes late for their reservation were seated before us. When we got to our table, our service was slow... More

Can't say enough about Floyd's. we have been going there for about 3-4 years now and usually go about 4-5 times a month. I've never had a bad meal, never had bad service and would highly suggest this restaurant to anyone whether you like Cajun food or not, they have something for everyone. My typical dinner, Fried Pickles for appetizer... More

We've been going to Floyd's for family meals when we're in the mood for Cajun food for a long time... which is saying something since my family is from Cajun country (Lafayette/New Iberia/St. Martinville). Crab bisque is a favorite of just about everyone, as are most of the other appetizers, including the bar trash, onion rings, etoufee, gumbo, etc. It's... More

Pretty good Cajun seafood, especially for this area. Floyd Landry from Lafayette LA started this, & has several others in the area. We really like them all, & have been going since they opened. Service is sometimes slow, but overall we like it & will continue to eat here.

The food here is wonderful and they do seafood right. The crab bisque has so much crab that there isn't room for the rice that accompanied it. Fried shrimp are excellent as well. Only bad thing I can say is avoid the Crawfish if you like em spicy.

In Pearland next to Alvin Tx this establishment rates very well in my view for it's variety of food, value for money and most of all it's friendly atmosphere. You can buy souvenir T shirts as well to take home.
