This is the best restaurant in Orange. The worst part is the hours, only open for lunch during the week and brunch on Sundays. The Portabella Chicken dinner it's my go-to, and never disappoints. One important note: NEVER NEVER NEVER under any circumstances should you leave there without trying the bread pudding! Enjoy!

Yesterday was my third time dining for lunch at the cafe in 8 months and so far it hasn't disappointed. I'm "that person" who likes to dine with family and friends and try this and that from their plates. I rarely order a hamburger but my uncle had the portabella and swiss and it was divine! The garlic cream sauce... More

Limited hours, but if you are free for lunch, don't bypass this place. I have been here for every type of meal, from business to pleasure to organization meetings, and service is always excellent. Don't miss the shrimp and grits, or the grilled shrimp salad with white balsamic vinaigrette. Actually, I have never had anything that wasn't superb. Oh, and... More

Old Orange Cafe is exceptionally tasty and creative in their menu choices. We have dined there many times - for Sunday Brunch, weekday lunch and before-theater evening dining. We have never been disappointed by the food, the service or the prices.

Old Orange Cafe is a staple in my lunch time restaurants. The food is always great, fresh and reasonably priced.

We went for dinner before going to a play at the theater. They have a set menu with about 5 entree choices including 3 fish entrees and prime rib. The entrees include oven potatoes, a vegetable (in our case, green beans) and your choice of soup or salad. The entrees are pricey, however they are also very large. My prime... More

I wast here worth a group of 8 friends for lunch. The waitress was very nice and checked on us frequently. Everyone was very satisfied with their food. My shrimp burger and onion rings excellent. Their home made rolls and buns make all sandwiches even better. My wife had Cajun roast beef with dirty rice and loved it.

The Old Orange Cafe has been a favorite place for us to dine before going to The Lutcher Theater and last night Chef Claybar prepared a private dinner for our group of 34 people. The food was excellent and wait staff were helpful and attentive to our needs.

We had lunch on a weekday - had to wait a short while to be seated. Food was superb, at a reasonable price. Service was good too.
