We eat lunch here every Mother's Day and other times. It is small, very near the river boardwalk and courthouse. Food for us has been very good and pricing is okay. Locals love this place, it is clean and service is fine.

This is a nice place for lunch. Hours are for lunchtime only, or special occasions. Food was good, but questionable dishes tried. Gumbo was average at best... Just not to our taste. Other fare was good. Not sure of a return trip.

We found this restaurant on TripAdvisor. The food and service lived up to the high ratings. I had the country fried steak while my wife had a chicken salad sandwich. Portions were more than ample. Service was attentive. Our server, Rachel, even pointed out some places we might like to visit in the area when she realized that we were... More

It's located near downtown Orange with several historic structures nearby. The menu is part cafe and part restaurant. It's a bit noisy during peak use, but the food is all very good. Definitely a cut above the average cafe.

Located in the old orange dairy building in downtown Orange it's one place you need to visit. Only open for lunch mostly (they're open at night when the stark theater has shows) . The food has been good every time we go in. Not a large menu by my standards but what they have is tasty. Sometimes it's hard to... More

Going to Old Orange Cafe once will never be enough! I have missed this place so much. Their quality of food & service is because the do 'limit' their serving hours. They're not a 'fast food' restaurant and do not need to be open 24/7. When you have gone once, the memory of your meal will beckon you to return…and... More

We ordered food "in" 3 days in a row during a company training. The delivery was on time and the food was hot and fresh and everyone was pleased with their selections. Over the course of the 3 days we ordered a variety of items - salads, burgers, shrimp burgers, Cajun grilled shrimp, sandwiches, etc. My personal favorite was the... More

The food and food choices are very good. I love the quiche and salad for lunch. OOC is often open in the evening when the theatre is open. I've only eaten there for lunch. My only 'complaint' is that it is noisy. The building used to be an old dairy and has a nice history that is available for reading.

No visit to orange would be complete without lunch at the Old Orange Cafe located inan old dairy building. The menu included typical Texas items such as chicken fried steak--which my wife had and I had to east abou thalf of it. I had one of the cajun specialities--shrimp with grits. The grits are in a patty covere dwith a... More
