I went yesterday on my way home from landa park. We loved it. I got the italian cream cupcake which was really good. We mostly bought cupcakes . The cup cakes were awesome and the cashier was really sweet! They have the best ice tea.great cookies

I wasn't planning on buying anything, just wanted to take a peek inside. I should have known you can't walk out of a great bakery empty-handed.

Was excited to go here. Made a special journey there. The display cases were full and presented well. So we labored over our choices. Bought 6 different items. Gathered our evenings treat and went back to condo. Ugh is the best way to describe. Flavorless, stale..they need to improve. I will not be returning or recommending.

When the baker to the Prince of Braunfels Germany made the trip to the Teas frontier how could he have known a legend would be born. Enjoy struedel, pfefferneuse, kolaches, and more at the oldest continually operating German Bakery in Texas on the Main Plaza in New Braunfels.

I had read the reviews and they said "the Strudel is a must" so I went in and said "I'll take a Apple and Cherry"! Well I must have missed the review that said they are about 24" LONG! Well I did freeze some and it does taste Great!!!

The only problem I had with this bakery was deciding what to get because they had too much to choose from. I ended up getting some cream horns and a selection of cookies. I also got a loaf of their sourdough bread. The bread was fabulous and tasted homemade. We used it for toast and just ate it out of... More

I've been to Naegelin's on different visits to the area, and now it is a must-go because I have to get my strudel! On my most recent visit, I bought two strudels to take home and freeze for Thanksgiving. I bought freezer wrap and carefully wrapped them, and by the time I got home, it had been 5 days since... When I was a kid, this place was always a stop for my family when we visited the New Braunfels area. I used to marvel at the 6-ft sections of apple strudel that they made back then; you could order any length/size that you wanted. My husband and I recently visited the area again and I insisted that we stop.... More

Had to go there & see the oldest bakery in TX. Bought a cream horn & apple turnover just cuz. Both were ok. But it was still fun to be able to say " we visited the oldest bakery in TX"
