We enjoyed hunting for this place as we wanted to visit this landmark bakery. It was fun to walk through the door and see all the goodies in the case. Where do we start? We ended up buying a few treats. Our favorite was the chocolate cream filled bismarks. They got devoured in our car. We also bought a cinnamon... More

Used to love this place for many years, but I'll be honest. It hasn't been up to par for a decade, I'd say. Things just never taste that fresh or even tasty. You're gonna get a LOT better treats at 2 Tarts, only about 1/4 mile away.

Always stop by when I'm in the area and have even made an hour long drive to get goodies from this wonderful little bakery. Everything is made fresh and the place just smells amazing when you walk through the door. Cheese pockets are so perfect with morning coffee. And love the drive thru when I'm in a hurry. Custom cakes.... More

Tried several baked goods. All were tasty.Cake pops, cookies, breads. One draw back. Very busy on Sat. Mornings. Otherwise worth the wait.

Stopping in for a post float down the Comal River has become a tradition. Staff is helpful and friendly and we've always been able to find parking along the street out front. You can't beat a sweet treat for the ride home! Stop in if your passing through it's worth the time.

I arrived at Naegelin's Bakery at a little after 10AM on August 23, 2014. I had gone there to purchased a cake for a birthday. I bought a Boston Cream Cake for $18.75 and tax. I drove straight home, which was about 10 minutes away. I placed the cake in the front passenger seat and kept the A/C on all... More

Very disappointed in Naegelin's after so much hype. Pastry tasted old. In my opinion it was overpriced. They were open on Sunday which has changed...so not sure if what I ordered was left over from Saturday. Overall not what I expected.

Have been visiting this Bakery for years. Great homemade breads and cookies. The iced molasses are my favorite. When my son was stationed in Kuwait he requested these cookies from home for Christmas. My granddaughter loves the strawberry muffins!

I've been eating Naeglin's pastries since my family started visiting New Braunfels in the early 80's and now it's my daughter's favorite as well! Kolaches, pastries, cookies, donuts, bread. Order anything it's all great, and the ladies behind the counter are the nicest anywhere! Stop for a minute and eat on the tables outside the restaurant which is just off... More

Oldest bakery inTexas and one of the best too. My favorite things are the mini sausage bites and the sandtart cookies. They also make fresh tortillas. You will want one of everything! We went for breakfast and then returned after floating the Comal to get some desserts.
