Our group was young grandparents, mom, dad, 3 grand kids ages 15, 13 & 9. We had to wait 30 mins but they had an older gentleman with a guitar singing country outside on the patio so it was great. He actually played some old Hank W for us. Big menu so something for everyone and all was good. Lot... More

PORTIONS are plentiful and tasty. service is usually very good. If you go on a weekend, go early (5-530) or be prepared to wait 1/2 hour or more. I DON't recommend getting it to go.....it gets soggy and taste is not the same.

this is the place to go if you want casual, good food. Don't expect white linens or a wine list - but do expect friendly service, good food and some of the best onion rings in Texas.

Mmmm. Juicy, crisp catfish with smoky pinto beans, light cole slaw, homemade fries, just right hush puppies, cocktail sauce & a side order of the universe's best onion rings - they are not kidding. Portions big enough to share. Sure enjoyed the mature & perky wait staff, the beer list & bottomless ice tea as well as a scenic cruise... More

The whole family had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes. We were not disappointed. Had banana pudding, chocolate pie and peach cobbler for dessert. The desserts were in small portions but we're good. We walked in without a wait about an hour before closing on a Friday night. Food was hot and fresh. Want to try catfish next time we... More

Fair warning, the catfish has spice but, it is still really good! A friend referred it to us and we really enjoyed trying something different. The outdoors had music, picnic tables, and a bar to serve drinks. The indoors is embellished with rustic collectables and is filled to the rim with tables for ample sitting. The only downside... our table... More

We (three of us) decided to try a local restaurant as opposed to a chain restaurant - we were so glad we did! On our way to Schlitterbahn, we happened to see a billboard for the Clear Springs Cafe, so we thought we'd give it a try. We went for dinner on Wednesday, May 28, 2014, around 7pm; our server... Menu had lots of options. Service was quick and friendly. Food was really good. Highly recommend that you save room for the chocolate pie and banana pudding.

Had a delicious lunch here the other day with a group of friends, one who has been coming here since she was a young girl. The catfish meal was great. The fish was battered and fried nicely. Their cole slaw is some of the best I have ever eaten and others in the group agreed. Their hush puppies had a... More

I have never been there that it was not crowded. If you do go be early because there are lines. My wife enjoys the fish tacos a lot, and I usually get the catfish. If you can eat onion rings they serve them piled about a foot high. I do know the french fries are delicious as well as the... More
