My wife and I joined her family for a trip to this great restaurant. The food was unbelievable. The catfish, shrip, and pretty much everything we ordered was great. The environment was very rustic and the staff was freandly and went out of their way to make your time there great. Will definately come back here when I am in... More

One of the best places for a wide variety of catfish menu items. Fun atmosphere and a great service staff. I am in New Braunfels frequently and this is always one of my stops.

Great causal dining with lots of menu choices all the way to gumbo. Parking lot is small but waiting time is less than you'd expect. Very reasonable prices and food served hot with all the trimmings. Being from Georgia, I'd rather have grits instead of pinto beans with my catfish but, hey, that's not a big deal...I'd still go back... More

This place was a second choice for dinner but so glad we came here. About 3 miles past the highway but well worth the drive. Don't let the parking lot being full scare you. It was 7pm on a Saturday night and we waiting about 25 minutes outside on the patio listening to an old cowboy sing and play his... More

Onion rings here are a must have. Over the years we have had the chicken fried steak, chicken fried chicken with garlic mashed potatoes and of course fried okra. All very good choices. On our last visit a couple of weeks ago I had the grilled fish taco, seasoned rice and a veggie a very good choice. Beer is nice... More

I felt like I was right at home in my southern element here. The minute I saw the staff t-shirts with the slogan "Born and Bread in Texas", I had to have one. You must get the onion rings. I'm not much of an onion ring person, but these were the best I've ever had. They blow that blooming thing... More

This is one of those out of the way places that is worth the search. Onion Rings, only order the Lrg. size if there are 4+ at your table and gobble them up as fast as you can. The rest of the menu is really good too. It's noisy, crowded and fun, with lots to look at. The service is... More
